Canon - PowerShot SD1000 Digital Camera —

Great camera. I bought for my wife for xmas and opened it to get it ready for her. Takes clear pics and a decent shutter speed. Built solid. Nice LCD. Great tools. I would definitely recommend!! I had a sony before and it was a horrible camera. I had to get it fixed many times. Think the repair guy had it more than I did. I was so let down, it took me a while to find a good camera that I would want to spend money on. I went into Best Buy to look but not purchase and the guy showed me the SD1000. And the great thing the sales guy did not pressure me in buying the camera right then and there. Instead I bought a portable DVD player, but that is another review. I have taken a few test shots with the camera so far and camera takes clear pics in the dark. Great flash. It also has face recognition. Sounds like a cool feature. Haven't been able to test that much, but used my hand and it tuned right in on it and was clear and day. Definitely worth the money. And great thing is it takes the cheap SD cards. I got a 2gig card for 15 bucks.
