This camera has a lot of great feautures. You can use the "accent mode" and choose which color you want to remain in your picture. Everything else will remain black and white. This camera is full of options for those that are more experienced photographers, yet will take great photos for those who just want quality!

The Photo/Pets scene mode is fantastic. They come out perfect and clear each time.

My Canon SD850 compact digital camera has all I need in a small digital camera! I have a digital Nikon SD40 digital camera, and my Canon takes as good of pictures as the Nikon in nearly all situations. I can adjust the ISO, take pictures with or without flash, take multiple pictures one right after the other and take short movies as well. There are three settings: Superfine, Fine, and Normal as well as a macro setting that takes great close-ups of flowers, bugs - you name it. It has a self-timer so if I want to take a picture of a group, I can set it and get into the picture too. You can go totally...

I love the Canon Power Shot SD 850 IS. It is the best small, easy to use digital camera I have found. The picture quality is amazing, and it doesn't require an incredible steady hand like many cameras in its class. It has very good point and shoot options as well as a few manual settings for the more talented photographers.

It is also a farily durable camera. Mine withstood several minor falls (off the coffee table, out of my purse, etc.) It even lasted a few months after a 6 foot fall onto rock... but it was a little tempermental after that. I finally replaced it with the EXACT same model because...

I have always loved Canon for digital cameras. This is my second camera and I like that it is small enough to take anywhere.  The picture quality is outstanding especially for outdoor pictures. 

 There is also a manual option to adjust shutter speed and light.  For those that do not like manual, there is a screen option that has preset aperture and shutter speeds for action shots, night shots, indoor, fireworks, etc.

If you enjoy ease of use, quality pictures, rechargeable long lasting battery, and small size, this is the camera for you!
