Best pix and flix at a decent price

loving my digital camera, sixty or more something

Pros

Sharp Pictures, 8 megapixels, good sound in videos, many manual settings, nice size LCD flip-out screen, swing out screen, takes video w/sound, Easy to use

Cons

Does not need expensive lithium battery

I have 3 digital cameras (not counting my cell phone) and the Canon PowerShot A630 is the one I use 99% of the time. This camera is small, but it takes BIG pix and great movies. If I had to pick one feature that stands out, I would say it is the ability to connect directly to your TV via the AV jacks. No converter necessary... you can connect and watch your movie or view a slideshow of your pix right there in your livingroom on your big screen TV. Or, you can edit and select & print your favorite still shot from the movie. I can say nothing bad about this camera, it has so many features I may never learn to use or even count them all. And you can have loads of fun just playing around with the color swap! I would recommend this camera to my closest friend, sibling or parent. 5 Star +++++
