Canon - PowerShot A620 Digital Camera Review Summary
If you’re new to digital cameras, our reviewers say that the Canon PowerShot A620 is “the most versatile digital camera for the beginning photographer”. This is just one of the reasons why the Canon A620 is one of the highest rated digital cameras on this site, but that’s not all. For those who are more experienced, the Powershot A620 has many features like “specialized settings for fireworks, nighttime shots, kids/pets, snow, etc.” A swivel LCD screen allows you to “take photos angled up, down or even toward yourself.” One drawback that our reviewers noticed, the Canon PowerShot A620 is a little bigger than other cameras on the market.

My great aunt (appx 75 yrs old) bought this camera to go with her canon all-in-one printer. After she purchased it, she called me and asked if I would come and set it up for her. I did. This camera blew me away with its simplicity and image quality! There are a few reasons why I would recommend this camera to anyone... — — 1. Picture quality: Many cameras boast 10 megapixel (or even more). But what are they really tranlating to a printed out picture? Usually ALOT less. They use interpolated megapixels. This means that they capture the image at 5 megapixel, but the camera…

I was really impressed with the Canon Powershot A620 digital camera. It takes great photos with amazing detail and has a good zoom. Even if you're not very familiar with photography, the automatic settings work well.....and they have plenty of settings to change for those of you who understand that kind of stuff (that would not be me!!!). There are specialized settings for fireworks, nighttime shots, kids/pets, snow, etc. and the macro feature lets you take amazing photos of up-close objects. Macro is definitely my favorite feature! Also, you can make…

loving my digital camera, somewhat tech savvy, computer literate
I LOVE my Canon Powershot A620. If you are out for a fun and easy to use camera that has possibilities for more than your average camera, this is the camera for you. My favorite feature which makes this camera so awesome is that the screen is rotatable. This allows you to face the camera and still see the screen and know what you will be shooting - no guessing. It also allows you to shoot straight at an object from above it and angle the screen so you can still see what you are shooting. You can also make videos of any size -- only limited to the size of your…

The camera broke on me in the first 30 days. Cheaply made and not worth your time. The pictures were blurry and hard to make out. Try Canon. — — The camera broke on me in the first 30 days. value conscious, practical, loving my digital camera, Every day computer user, somewhat tech savvy
I adore this camera. My husband got it for me 3 years ago and it's been great. Small enough to through in my purse (though too big for a pocket), I take my camera ev.er.y.where! It takes great quality pictures at a very high resolution, but it's also easy to switch it to a lower res if i just need quick pics for something. The features are fantastic, and more intuitive than other brands we looked at. I've had no trouble figuring out how to use the camera on my own, but the manual is actually a fairly easy read if a person needed it. — — I do wish it…

picky about pictures, family's manager of memories, an amateur photographer, loving my digital camera, attached to my camera, impressed with this product, value conscious
I had bought this Camera after mine was stolen. The 7.1 megapixels is a great level for the new photographer. This camera has all the ability of a Professional camera. I took alot of pictures at the concerts of the band I used to manage and they were some of the best ones ever taken of the guys. I also used this camera to do photography shoots for numerous families and friends. So if your looking for a camera that is not extremely wallet crunching but reliable then this is the camera for…

impressed with this product, loving my digital camera
This camera is a top of the line product. It takes great photos; has tons of options; and no matter if you print the pictures off on your printer or send them off, the photos look professional. The Canon Powershot A620 has 7.1 mega pixels and 4x optical zoom; a LCD window to view your pictures to decide if you want to keep them; and several options in which to take a photo (profile, landscape, night, etc). I would recommend this camera to…

nature lover, married, with pets, impressed with this product, Every day computer user, loving my digital camera, an amateur photographer, willing to pay for quality, a pet owner
We received this camera as a gift and have been crazy about it. Our kids are 5 and 7 and take good, sometimes great pictures with this camera. My wife and I use it a lot and especially like the movie feature to capture those life moments that are better memories when in video form. Canon has done a fabulous job. We tried other cameras, both in the stores and ones that friends and family owned and really liked this one the…

Good camera easy to figure out, easy to use. The only thing that annoys me is that I have a baby and its not quick to let you take another picture so you miss out on a lot of good shots because of the delay. But overall very nice pictures, it does eat your batteries up like crazy however, a lot of idfferent settings for different types of pictures, landscape, portrait…
