I have had my camera for a week and I think it is absolutely great.  I don't think I could have picked a better camera for the price.  It is very simple to use and takes great pictures.  I have a very active child and it is much quicker capturing him than my old digital camera was.  In all reality,... review »

I love this camera. Great pictures. Ours came with a large memory card. Good features for basically a point and shoot.
The only problem we've had is that 5 months into owning it (bought new) suddenly, no matter what we do, the low battery sign comes on within 3-5 pictures taken. Every time.:(  It might...

This is my 3rd digital camera and so far it is the best one I have ever owned. I had purchased this camera at the beginning of Nov. 2007. I had previously owned a Canon so when it came time to get a new one, I knew what brand I wanted. The camera is completely affordable and works great for the money. It has meet all of my expectations and even more. It is so user friendly and easy to use. I like how the buttons are just the right size and not too small. I love the size of the camera too. It's not to small and not to big either. I have 2 new babies in the family and this camera can actually... review »

I purchased this Canon Powershot about three years ago. I have taken approximately 7,000 pictures with it and it is just now starting to give up on me - it will not longer take good shots, I've probably just worn it down. I will probably upgrade the camera in the next month or two because I do not have a camera phone to take pictures of anything with. In terms of durability, the camera holds up quite well, but if you're an avid picture-taker like me, go for a camera with a better zoom and a battery that does not need to be charged so much. I like the Canon brand, so my next camera will be a Canon...

variety of scene modes...and their availability. On some cameras, the special scenes are hidden, and you have to dig through tons of menus to get to them. On this camera, though, there is a dial at the top of the camera which allows you to move quickly through them- and there is quite a variety! Auto (for the user who doesn't want to fuss with any control), Manual (for the user who wants to fuss with every control), indoor, kids and pets, landscape, and special scene (there may be a few others).

Another great thing is the huge LCD...compared to my past cameras, it feels like you're looking at the...

I really like this camera, except for the fact that the focus doesn't work so well. I have shaky hands (it's genetic) and so the auto-focus doesn't work because it has the little icon that means the camera is moving too much to focus. I take pictures all the time. My little brother is 10 months old and is one of the main focuses of my pictures. I also love nature and am constantly outside taking pictures of the sky, trees, and plants. This camera provides sharp pictures (when not shaky...) and is very easy to use, while still having enough options to keep it interesting.                                                                                                              ...

I have young children and had a camera with horrible delay, so I kept missing all the great moments from my kids.  And you don't get a second take with them! The Canon Powershot A560 is great - no delay when used in adequate light, and even with the flash, it's minimal.  I have yet to take a bad picture with it!  It was recommended to me by a friend and I'm happy I made the investment, which wasn't that bad.  Very easy to use, simple instructions, and the manual is easy to follow for when I decide I want to learn how to do more with it.  It also takes great video with audio playback; something...

I've never been the best photographer, but with the advent of digital cameras, I decided it was the perfect time to learn.  No wasted film, and I can also learn about editing my pictures once I upload them.

I was looking for a camera that had some of the basic features that make it easy to use - automatic settings, etc., but could also help me learn how to go beyond "point and click" photography.  I am very pleased with my selection.  For under $200, the Canon PowerShot A560 has been a great investment as well as a lot of fun.  It has the usual limitations found in a less expensive...

I love this camera. I used this camera on my trip to Moscow, Italy and most recently on the delivery of my first child. It held greatly with the cold weather in Moscow. I went there around february which was one of their coldest month and I took more than 800 pictures! I also made some videos with it. In my trip in Italy I took over 1200 pictures. My husband cannot stand taking pictures, so I am glad that I can just grab the camera and snap quick shots even if he is not in the mood to take the pics. I was so glad that this camera has a video setting because I was planning on recording my whole...

Before the birth of our first child, I bought a Polaroid digital camera on sale.  I had a Canon, but wanted more megapixels.  That was a big mistake!  The Polaroid camera took awful pictures and was slow to reload.

When our son was only 2 months old, we decided to again buy a new camera since the other one was so awful.  We did not want to spend a lot of money, but wanted quality.  Our first Canon was such a good camera, that we decided to go that route again.  We purchased the A560.  With 4x optical zoom and 7.1 megapixels, it is a great camera!  I love the quality of the photos and...

I bought this camera for my girlfriend as a gift since she was always borrowing my digital camera and didn't have one of her own yet. I was looking for something easy to use but something that would produce good results. I knew Canon was usually a reliable brand and began looking at reviews for the Powershot series. I found a great deal on the A560 and decided to purchase it. It features a large, bright LCD display that works great for point and shoot use. I was also impressed with Canon's advancement of the controls as far as the buttons on the back of the camera are concerned. The controls are...

I got the Canon Powershot for Christmas last year and I have used it frequently since then. It takes great pictures, there are several settings, you can use the auto setting that will choose the best setting for the picture you are taking, or you can take black and white, scenery, portrait, there is even a setting for taking pictures of kids or pets. I have 2 kids and I take lots of pictures of them. The only downside for this is that the flash sometimes takes a minute so the pictures come out blurry. But since its a digital camera you can see right away whether its a good picture or not. Its...

I bought this camera (Canon Powershot A569) to take along on a trip to Flordia and I loved it. The pictures it took were amazing. This is the first time I have owned a digital camera so I was not sure which kind to buy. A friend told me about this camera so I went with it. Boy was I ever glad I did. I really like the idea of zooming in so close to an object and the picture still turns out so clear like you are standing right in front of the object when you are at least 20 feet away. I am a huge picture person and take ALOT of pictures so a good camera is very important to me. I would have to say... review »

This is really a cool digital camera although not such slim. It takes great pictures everytime. The best part what I like about it is that it can take great pictures when you are not still. I mean if you are in a car or bus still it focus the pictures pretty well. My roommate has this camera and we all love it. If you use rechargable batteries then its pretty fine too. It has a capability to use High Capacity SD card too. It is fine with 4 GB capacity. The picture qualities are awesome. And for the price no one can beat it. Great for the beginner's and for experienced users too. Very easy to operate.... review »

This is my second Canon digital camera and I would definitely buy a third and fourth. some of the other digitals were so small that the buttons were hard to use and not located in convenient places. Not the Canon. The size makes it compact yet easy to hold and keep steady while taking pictures. I take a lot of action pictures and the really small cameras are almost impossible to hold still. Picture and video quality is very good. My only negative comment would be that this camera is not quite as user friendly as my previous Canon to view and delete pictures. Overall, I would recommend this camera... review »
