I have had my camera for a week and I think it is absolutely great.  I don't think I could have picked a better camera for the price.  It is very simple to use and takes great pictures.  I have a very active child and it is much quicker capturing him than my old digital camera… read full review »

I love this camera. Great pictures. Ours came with a large memory card. Good features for basically a point and shoot. — The only problem we've had is that 5 months into owning it (bought new) suddenly, no matter what we do, the low battery sign comes on within 3-5 pictures taken. Every… read full review »

variety of scene modes...and their availability. On some cameras, the special scenes are hidden, and you have to dig through tons of menus to get to them. On this camera, though, there is a dial at the top of the camera which allows you to move quickly through them- and there is quite a variety! Auto (for the user who doesn't want to fuss with any control), Manual (for the user who wants to fuss with every control), indoor, kids and pets, landscape, and special scene (there may be a few others). — — Another great thing is the huge LCD...compared to my past cameras, it feels like… read full review »

This is my 3rd digital camera and so far it is the best one I have ever owned. I had purchased this camera at the beginning of Nov. 2007. I had previously owned a Canon so when it came time to get a new one, I knew what brand I wanted. The camera is completely affordable and works great for the money. It has meet all of my expectations and even more. It is so user friendly and easy to use. I like how the buttons are just the right size and not too small. I love the size of the camera too. It's not to small and not to big either. I have 2 new babies… read full review »

I really like this camera, except for the fact that the focus doesn't work so well. I have shaky hands (it's genetic) and so the auto-focus doesn't work because it has the little icon that means the camera is moving too much to focus. I take pictures all the time. My little brother is 10 months old and is one of the main focuses of my pictures. I also love nature and am constantly outside taking pictures of the sky, trees, and plants. This camera provides sharp pictures (when not shaky...) and is very easy to use, while still having enough options to keep it… read full review »

I've never been the best photographer, but with the advent of digital cameras, I decided it was the perfect time to learn.  No wasted film, and I can also learn about editing my pictures once I upload them. —    I was looking for a camera that had some of the basic features that make it easy to use - automatic settings, etc., but could also help me learn how to go beyond "point and click" photography.  I am very pleased with my selection.  For under $200, the Canon PowerShot A560 has been a great investment as well as a lot of fun.  It has the… read full review »

Before the birth of our first child, I bought a Polaroid digital camera on sale.  I had a Canon, but wanted more megapixels.  That was a big mistake!  The Polaroid camera took awful pictures and was slow to reload.  — When our son was only 2 months old, we decided to again buy a new camera since the other one was so awful.  We did not want to spend a lot of money, but wanted quality.  Our first Canon was such a good camera, that we decided to go that route again.  We purchased the A560.  With 4x optical zoom and 7.1 megapixels, it is a great… read full review »

This is really a cool digital camera although not such slim. It takes great pictures everytime. The best part what I like about it is that it can take great pictures when you are not still. I mean if you are in a car or bus still it focus the pictures pretty well. My roommate has this camera and we all love it. If you use rechargable batteries then its pretty fine too. It has a capability to use High Capacity SD card too. It is fine with 4 GB capacity. The picture qualities are awesome. And for the price no one can beat it. Great for the beginner's and for experienced users too. Very easy to… read full review »

This is my second Canon digital camera and I would definitely buy a third and fourth. some of the other digitals were so small that the buttons were hard to use and not located in convenient places. Not the Canon. The size makes it compact yet easy to hold and keep steady while taking pictures. I take a lot of action pictures and the really small cameras are almost impossible to hold still. Picture and video quality is very good. My only negative comment would be that this camera is not quite as user friendly as my previous Canon to view and delete pictures. Overall, I would recommend this… read full review »

This is a pretty inexpensive camera as far as digital cameras go.  There are a lot of features on this camera and it fits snugly in my purse.  — You can use the view screen or a traditional camera viewfinder to locate your target.  The lens allows you to zoom in on what you want to photograph.  — The camera has internal memory, as well as the included removable memory chip.  This allows you to take the chip to a store like Walmart and have the photos printed. —  The most important thing about this camera is that it takes… read full review »

I made a nice purchase when I bought my Canon PowerShot A560.  I was looking for the most affordable camera with all the common features.  I like the size of the LCD display.  The pictures come out great, especially on the auto setting.  There is even a setting for kids and pets!  Downloads pics quickly.  This is everything I wanted in a camera!  It was also the best price when I was shopping.  You may want to purchase a larger card and some rechargable batteries, but this is common for all camera in this price… read full review »

This camera is very light weight and fun to use. It's easily compatable with the PC. Easy to upload photos either using the card or the USB cord. There are alot of functions on this camera. You can take photos in black and white, or sepia. Change the size of the picture so when you upload the photos on the PC it will automatically be the size you need it be. You can record videos. It has a special night flash. You can even take up to 10 consetutive photos. This is a great camera to learn if you are interested in photography.… read full review »

I bought this camera in Oct 2007. It was an upgrade to my 4 yr old digital. What an improvement. It is great for me, an amatuer user. Stores a ton of pictures. At a wedding this weekend I received many comments that this camera's limit seemed endless! I absolutely love the quality. I am looking forward to learning the in's and outs. The price was perfect. Got it an newegg.com for about 150. Can't go wrong. A must… read full review »

I have a different Canon digital camera which I love.  I selected this particular one as a gift for my mother who doesn't want anything complicated to worry about.  After trying it out, I found this camera simple to use, easy to handle, and very capable of taking great pictures.  I know my mother is going to enjoy joining us in the digital age with her new… read full review »

I am very happy with my Powershot 560. I was able to use it for the first time on my trip to Acadia National Park.  I used it in a variety of situation - taking portraits of people, landscapes, and I even used the macro feature taking close-ups of wildflowers. I found the camera easy to use, and was pleased with the quality of the pictures it took. —… read full review »
