Canon - PowerShot A550 Digital Camera —

I recently switched to the Canon Powershot A550 when my last camera (not a digital camera) was destroyed due to water damage. I take a lot of outdoor shots of wild birds and other wildlife as a hobby and I have to say that I got clearer shots with my last camera! However, the powershot A550 is far superior for family portraits, close-ups, and other such shots that the average family person would use this camera for. Overall, I like this camera- but if you are looking to do more nature photography, this is not for you. Canon does make a better camera for nature shots, but it's somewhere in the $1000 range- so this will have to do for me for now!
