Canon - PowerShot A540 Digital Camera Review

I asked for a small digital camera last Christmas (2006), so that I wouldn't always have to bring my Rebel SLR digi with me when out and about with the kids.  this is the one DH bought me.  I love it.  Takes great pictures, easy to use, small.  We even lent it to MIL for a trip to Europe.  she is very techno niave, and she got great shots.  Granted, her granddaughters (preteens) were there to handle any tech issues!  I had one repair issue (lens would not retract after taking pics) and Canon fixed it and sent it back as good as new - no problems at all.

 I just wish it took the same format of memory card as my digirebel.  That would make life easier.  I love that it takes standard AA batteries, too.  I've invested in two sets of rechargables and am always ready to go!
