It takes good pictures if you know how to use it right.

Canon - PowerShot A520 Digital Camera —
As a basic camera, for taking family photos and some scenery, it does well. But if you're into wildlife photography, but you can't get get very close to the animals in their natural habitat AND have good lighting, you need a better camera. I love it and would keep it even if I had another, better camera, but there's still things that just don't work well with it. It doesn't work with all subjects of photography.
