Truthful, value conscious, a comparison shopper, a busy person, loving this camera!, willing to pay for quality, practical
This little camera takes amazingly clear pictures. I was looking for something small to carry on vacation, and the Canon SD1000 fit the bill. — — In spite of its compact size, the camera has a sizeable LCD screen that helps you see exactly what you're trying to shoot. The color tones in the LCD are really crisp. The face-recognition feature is a great plus - it helps make sure that all faces in the shot are in focus. The auto focus works very well. — — The camera starts up very quickly, and there's no waiting before being able to take a picture. I like that. I had a…

This is the third Canon Power Shot camera that I have owned. I use one for work since I take a lot of pictures that need to be downloaded. I have another one that I use strictly for personal use. My original camera lasted me three years and still takes great pictures but the LCD feature finally broke. Believe me it took a beating before it broke (I must have dropped it at least 15 times and nothing happened to it. The one that I use for work is set just to the smallest size and works great. I bought this camera about 5 months ago and it has been great! The pictures always come out clear, and there are some really nice features. It is small and has a high resolution 2.5 inch, scratch resistant LCD screen. It also had face detection and red eye reduction. I looked for a camera for a while and when I checked the Best Buy website, I noticed that the SD-1000 had the best reviews for the cameras in its price range. What really sold me was the fact that is was on sale for $179! In the end, I am extremely happy with my purchase, and have had absolutely no problems with the camera…

Purchased this camera based on reviews I found online. I was not disappointed. I have recommended it to several others. It does everything I wanted it to do and then some. Great pictures, compact size, excellent battery life. The battery charges quickly, so you don't miss out on too many photo ops. I highly recommend a case to protect the delicate screen and an extra memory card for storage. Love…

I liked this camera so much, that when my daughter's friend threw her purse and broke the camera, I bought another one. I just LOVE…

This camera is good buy. It has night mode which is good. The zoom feature is also available. — An SD card is needed to store pictures. The battery is re chargable which is better than AA batteries. The only drawback is one has to wait a little time before the picture is…
