Canon - Power Shot SD1000 —

The Canon SD1000 Digital elph is a pretty good camera. The pics are really top notch, and you can just point and shoot. I've had it for about a year and haven't even bothered to check out all the features, but every so often a situation pops up and I discover something new that it can do. It's really small and very handy. It comes with a wall charger and keeps a charge for a long time.
Sometimes there's a lag between when you press the button and when the shot is taken....it depends on some mysterious factors I haven't figured out yet but light seems to figure in. It fixes the light on some shots automatically and that's really nice. The short video mode actually works really well. It seems like many of the problems with the early digital cameras have been resolved.....so....if you're still struggling with an old digital....it might be worth trying a new one.
