We bought this printer after reading many reviews online and comparing features and prices. This printer has been easy to use and very dependable. The photos come out amazing! The colors are very vivid and lifelike. Performance We have used this printer over and over for 2 years and have not had a single flaw or failure except for us not keeping enough ink on hand. It does use quite a large amount of ink but the quality is so there! Copy Quality Very pleased with the print on documents and also the excellent quality of photos. The photos appear professionally done! We have 2 children and are constantly taking those "priceless" shots....we are very pleased with the results when printed on our Canon. Ink/Paper Use Does use a lot of ink but the quality is worth it to us. 2 different ways to load paper is nice as well. Easy to set up and use. Ease of Use Very easy to use. You can move from 1 mode to another lickety split and continue printing. Love this printer! Durability Over two years and not a single problem or issue with this printer and we have used it an awful lot. Design I like the design. Everything is easy to use and easy to set up.

I was looking for a good multi-function printer, and the Pixma MP 620 was the answer!  The printer is really easy to set up, and I have not had any problems in the year that I have had it.  One of my favorite features is the COPY button, which allows you to scan something and print a copy of it without even sending the image to your computer.  The menu screen on the printer is really easy to navigate and lets you do many things without even opening the printer controls on the computer.  The printer has two ways paper can be loaded, which maximizes the various types of things you can print.  The printer prints things fairly quickly with good quality, too.  My only complaint is that the Canon brand ink runs out more quickly than I would like, and that the printer itself is a little bulkier and may not fit on your average shelf.  Great printer though.  Definitely recommend it for small, every day jobs.

This printer is awful. As stated in other reviews, the ink runs out incredibly fast. And when one color runs out, it will not let you print even in black when the black cartridge is full. Also, and most annoying of all, it will not let you scan when even one ink cartridge is out. Seriously, it doesn't need ink to scan!! So annoying!!

I love my Canon PIXMA MP 620 All in One.  I needed it's functionality in our small office.  But, I hated the idea of these big chunky printer combos that nobody can figure out how to use!  PLUS, we didn't have a lot of room in our tight little printer area. I looked online and read the reviews before purchasing it. This guy works great!  Just as described.  And, I can figure out how to use it, and that is saying a lot.  I am not the most gifted when it comes to figuring out technology.  An office full of girls was able to get it up and running, and working fine!  We LOVE the wireless capability.  We are a small office, so this was a must, we needed to share from all our offices.  It's not only practicle, but very attractive as well. The cartridges are a bit pricey, but maybe that's with all of these higher end guys.  We can manage.  With the convenience of the combo/all in one printer, I think we'll manager A-okay!

I purchased this printer to go along with the new computer (it was for my birthday this time).  Found the model for 100 bucks on clearance.  From what I could tell, everything was the same about this printer to the new one coming out sitting next to it.  The printer has Wi-Fi capabilities, prints on both sides of the paper, has a internal paper tray as well as external back feeding tray and works fast.  First, I did a bunch of research on printers to find the lowest cost to print.  Other than the Kodak printers, these seem to be extremely low.  The HP seemed to cost the most.  I did not get a Kodak due to previous bad experiences with the heads on the printer to stop working.  From what I hear, that happens to quite a few people with them printers.  So I made the purchase and I couldn't have asked for a better printer.  I have used the copy and scan features as well as the print and they all work very well and is pretty responsive.  Sometimes it does take a bit to start printing.

I had an old epson printer before this and it was expensive to refill.  It had one of those ink refills that was combined all the inks into one.  It was a waste when I ran out of just one color and had to replace the whole thing.  I am so glad that this one had seperate ink tanks.  When I run out of just one color, I can replace just that one ink tank and not the rest.  The price for the ink is pretty well priced and last for a while.  It prints very good photos when I use the glossy type photo paper.  I also love how this product also has a scanner.  I sometimes need to scan statements or important documents just for reference.  It is very easy to use and has not broke down once since I got it.  I also own other Canon products and that is what persuaded me ot buy this printer.  Canon makes great products and none of the ones I bought have broken down yet.  I think money was well spent with this printer and I am very satisfied with this product.

I love the canon mp620 but it uses up ink really really fast.  It print is clear and precise.  Another annoying problem is that even if there is black ink left, the page will not print if there is any color print on it.  To me that is very annoying.  Black and white would be fine with me.

I have never before asked for something specific for Christmas.  But this last year, I needed...yes needed!...an all-in-one printer.  We had mountains of older photos that needed to be scanned and catalogued, along with important documents I wanted to save a digital copy of.  My husband got the (very strong/direct) hint, and bought the Canon MP620.  On the box, this thing looks awesome.  It had everything I wanted, and I couldn't wait to use it. I pulled out my pictures and started scanning.  It did that pretty well.  The image was decent, and I even uploaded some old vacation photos to Facebook.  Documents also scanned nicely, and I was able to archive the more important ones with ease. My issue with this printer is in the *printing.  *You have to push the "on" button several times to get it to *stay on*.  It constantly shuts off as I'm trying to print.  And then when it does print, it takes about 3-4 minutes just to warm up for one page.  It's ridiculous!  Even my extremely ancient printer performed better than this. Also, like many printers these days, it runs out of ink extremely fast, so you're going to spend a fortune on cartridges in its lifetime.  All in all, decent, but I'm sure there are much better models out there.

      I bought my Canon Pixma 620 because my old printer, a Dell, didn't work with my new  "MacBook" and I wanted a faster printer, with better photo-printing. I also liked its wireless promise, as it would free up a USB port. It was hard to set up, but I finally got it to copy lots of  pictures from an art book which I scanned and then printed. I was also able to read memory cards from my camera, thus seeing the pictures on a lightly larger screen than that of the  camera.But, before  was finished with the scan/print job, I got a message that The black "main" cartridge was empty. I took it out and found that it was not empty but "cloggrd.." However,  when I replacred this cartridge, I continued to get the same error message, and continue to  get the same message , and it stops me from doing anything, even scanning.I tried to look up  the error message in both the printer /scanner manuals and the on-line menu. but I can't find it.          Thus I continue to be unable to use the machine. I have noticed that in the stores, the price  of it has gone down considerably.I would have to give a failing grade to this computer. It is def- initely not "Wysiwyg." I retain the unlikely hope thst with some help, I will get it to work  someday.. (I hve a 3-year warranty)

I love this printer for being wireless.  All I need is one printer for my family of five.  No more buying ink for several printers used by my teenagers to do their homework.  Everybody just prints from their room and their documents are waiting for pick up.  Another great feature is that they can scan a document and send the file to the computer in their room.  This takes care of homework needs and the speed of printing and scanning makes the days of fighting for ones turn at the printer obsolete. When the kids are at school, I indulge my scrapbook habit and totally enjoy all the wonderful features of this all-in-one Cannon.  I can scan all my old pictures without bothering with my P.C.  The screen on the printer is great along with the dial and the interface on the pad.  It is very easy and quick to understand.  I plug in my jump drive or SD card and save my files directly there.  I have the choice of saving these files as jpeg or pdf.  I can also preview what I am saving.  If I want to reprint the photo, I also have a lot of choices about the size and quality of the reprint.  I can do a whole lot of digital scrapbooking without ever turning on my p.c.! The wireless features and the standalone features of this printer are awesome and well designed.  You can set them up straight out of the box and begin enjoying them ASAP and without any fuss.  For your money, this is the investment you should make this year.
