The design of the printer makes it easy to use. Prints well both in black and colored. Have had no problems with the printer. Prints pictures very well, color is amazing. Have had no problem with large projects. Performance has been great. Highly recommend this printer.

This is an adequate printer and gets the job done. I haven't had any trouble with the print jobs, I don't print a lot of pictures because the quality is just okay. The best feature on the machine is the wifi capabilities. I like being able to have my laptop connected and printing from anywhere in the house. Other than that, it eats ink for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have it set to print only in black and white, and I still feel like I am constantly buying ink (both black and color) for the machine. The cost of the ink is ridiculous; but the cost of the ink isn't more than other brands. Overall, in a pinch I would recommend it. But make sure that you factor in the cost of ink when purchasing. If you are printing color rich prints or printing a lot, you will be replacing ink often. Design It is an okay size. Kind of big and bulky. If you are going to use the scanner, then you will need to have a good amount of space with over head clearance to use all the functions of the machine.

I bought this printer to take to college since it was not pricy and canon is known for its quality. It was easy to assemble and I had no problems getting it to work. It connects to my Mac just fine. Printing is fast and efficient, and it does not make those weird sounds that some printers tend to do. The printer is also very efficient on ink usage. I print quite a lot (engineering student), and I've only changed the ink once all semester. The quality is great, it gets the colors really well. I have not had any paper jams or smudges as yet. The scanner and photocopier also comes in handy too. Both features are similarly easy to use and does not require installation of additional software. It is also not very bulky so when I move out, it will not be a problem to store it. I also liked the color and design of the machine itself. It is black and professional looking. I prefer this look to the white or creme looking printers that get dirty so quickly.

I have an old Lexmark printer that I have been using for my business for the past 10 years. The color no longer works but I can still print out my invoices on it and the ink is cheap. The problem is I have teenagers now who need to print out projects for school so it was time to break down and get a printer that does color as well. So I got them a Canon PIXMA MP495 color printer. This printer not only prints in color but it also prints quality photos. It has the ability to print full HD movie prints. It has Easy Webprint EX. You can also use it to scan things. It has wireless printing which means it does not have to be hooked up to a computer to print and you can have multiple computers print off of it. it also has a quick start and prints very quickly. It has ISO Standard Speed. To use the printer you just print from your computer and press the start button and your paper will come out printed on in a matter of seconds. All you have to do to load the paper is just place it in the top of the printer. There is a control panel on the top right hand side of the printer. If there is a problem with the printer for some reason you will see an E on the panel. The booklet contains lots of information on how to troubleshoot any errors that occur. The printer is a bit on the noisy side but I am used to that so it doesn't bother me at all. The print quality is very nice. My daughter is really good at drawing faces and uses a lot of details the printer printed out one of her drawings and it looked like she had drawn it right on that paper it was quite impressive. The is a decent printer that is reasonably priced. It will do the job in just about any home for things like home work and other home printing uses, but it would also work suitably in a small office. For the price I am really impressed with this printer. Performance The paper prints out really quickly and the printing is high quality. Copy Quality I find the quality to be very good. I like the way that it prints out even the most intricate of drawings and I have no complaints on how it prints out documents. Ink/Paper Use Uses ink that is not overly pricy and you can use any paper even cheap paper in this printer. Ease of Use Extremely easy to use. I am not technical at all and I find this printer extremely easy to use. Durability So far so good. I have not had it very long though so I can not really say how long it will last. Design The design is nice. It is black in color and it smooth on the top. It is not overly bulky and it fits in well with any decor and does not have anything that sticks out or make it unattractive at all.

I just recently purchased this canon pixma wireless printer the setup is somewhat challenging but once it is setup and installed this printer works wonderfully! you can print a black and white document in about two seconds per page. the scanner is also supreme i would recomend this printer anyone. the cost is reletivley cheap if you purchase it from walmart you can get a great discount price on it. if you are a big photographer and want a quick and easy way to print up your pictures this canon is the way to go it has a premeium qualitiy for a good price which is a rare find. once connected to the wi-fi it never looses connection, one of the best products i have ever bought also it can print movies with fun and neat backgrounds. ya'll should definately purchase this fine machine. also you can connect this machine to several other computer as long as it is on the same network. so go out and buy it people!

I purchased this printer for basic printing needs. It was very easy to install and the wireless function works well. I read other reviews that said the wireless was hard to install or confusing, but I am no expert and I was able to follow the simple on screen instructions and the manual and everything was installed in 20 minutes. The printer works well for my purposes and prints fast enough. There is a menu on the desktop that others found annoying, but it can be minimized to on small bubble and does not get in the way. The printer is larger than I had hoped, but I guess any all-in-one would be a similar size. I chose this model because it was so affordable and I have been impressed so far. Also, this printer is sold with a USB cord, something which is not standard and would have increased the cost of similar printers. It is very affordable and I would recommend this to anyone that wants a printer for basic home use.

I've just got this printer about 2 weeks ago, I wanted to upgrade my old printer for a wireless and also print pictures, the price was great in it. The thing is that when I got home and printed some pictures I was really disappointed, my camera takes great picture quality but I couldn't see that once I printed, the problem? my printer. So I would say that if you are looking for a printer just for your house, to print kids stuff, then this is the one, is fast when it comes to print documents, average quality on pictures and really easy to set it up, forget about cables since this is one is wireless.

I got this printer for my husband for Christmas this year and it's been a great product. It was extremely affordable and prints high quality word documents and photographic images. We've used it for it's copy (xerox) features as well as for scanning pictures, printing pictures and printing word documents and web pages. No problems at all. It is compact in size and is pretty quiet for an ink jet printer. Easy to hookup and to download accompanying software. We also have two canon cameras and they are very easy to collaborate with the camera software for printing pictures. We previously owned a Hewitt Packerd (HP) all-in-one printer and it lasted less than a year. The cartridges for this printer are about the same price as the HP. We highly recommend this all-in-one printer for home office use (our preference) and would also be a great addition for a college student. For the money, it's the best we've found! A+!

My printer finally wore out.I use it for printing coupons for the Neighborhood Center for their coupon day and also for my family.I found this Canon PIXMA495 at Walmarts for a great price.what I didnt realixe is that the ink is expensive and in the long run,its costing me more than the Lexmark I had.Its very limited on the features I neede which are simple ones.You have to have it on a surface level so you can see when your ink is low and the alrm button.The ink is expensive..you have to buy the xl if you dont want to run out fast.I guess the saying'you get what you pay for" applies to this one.I havehad Canon printers before and I was very happy with them.which is why when I saw the price of 48.88 my frind bought it for me for my birthday because he knew i was going to but it.I have a limited income and now I have to make sure I can budget in the ink price.It isnt really a good deal in the long run
