We have had this printer for a few years now, and it has worked great - used all its functions and got great quality work. I used to have bad luck with choosing which electronics to buy, but this printer was one of my best decisions - good price, great quality, and it has continued to work fine for over 3 or 4 years now! It has two different ways for you to scan items, giving you many options with how to perfect your scans. I am not exactly technologically illiterate, but I am not a technology whiz, but this printer is very easy to use. I love the picture (actual photo) printing function of it. I tried it out with printing a photo, not with paper, but with photo sheets like you would get if took photos from a camera, and it turned out amazing! The color quality was amazing and it saved me the time to get them printed at the store. Very durable, and would definitely recommend it, but too bad it is discontinued.

I bought the all in one printer, scanner and fax because it was on sale at the local office supply store. Since we bought it, we have started a business that runs from our house and we use the printer and scanner almost daily. It offers super printing of text as well as photo quality copies. It has been much more useful than we imagined for the price that we paid. (under 85.00) I think it is comparable to a 200.00 to 300.00 model. The scan and print features offer a wide variety of options for quality as well as layout. We have also been able to scan large legal documents and reformat so that they can be emailed on a simple email program. The cannon printers also seem to be pretty economical on ink. We have only needed to replace the colored ink once and the black twice in eight months of use. Overall it is an easy machine to use as I am not tech savy and it performs very well for an affordable printer, scanner and fax all in one.

Choosing a printer has always seemed confusing to me.  When we purchased our computer almost two years ago, we read some reviews and also asked the salesperson where we purchased our computer.  We were advised that the Canon MX330 is a solid printer.  After 2 years of everyday use, we easily agree and would confidently recommend the Canon MX330.  It is not too bulky and looks sleek next to our Apple computer.  I appreciate that it is Energy Star certified.  It can multitask.  It can copy, fax, print and scan.  I've had slight difficulty successfully faxing documents, but that might be more my issue than the printer's.  I also have not printed pictures from photo paper, but would like to experiment with that in the future.  The one downside is that the replacement ink is pricey, however, that is the case with many printers. The ink cartridges are a snap to change.  There is also a handy feature which displays how much colored ink and black and white remains.  I am pleased with the print quality and the speed as well.

This printer prints at mid-quality. It is not that great but not bad either. It is very noisy when it prints and the ink cartridges do not last long. The black ink cartridge went out on me within the first month and the color ink cartridge went out about a month later. So, if you print a lot of color documents it will probably last about the same length of time. I do like the way it automatically opens to let the paper feed out through the front panel. It is also big and bulky, but the size does accommodate for scanning books, etc. It also has the paper feeder at the top some that you can sit your document inside for copying and you do not have to hand feed it which is convenient. I have not been able to get the fax to work. I have no idea what I am doing wrong to get it to connect properly. Over all, the printer is an okay value for the price I paid for it. I will keep it until I feel the need to upgrade it. If you are not very picky, you may like this printer just fine, but if you are looking for a high-quality printer, I would suggest you do not purchase this printer.

If you are looking for a basic all in one printer at home- your search is OVER. This printer is a great printer for all the basic uses. It can print, scan, copy and fax! What more can you ask for. Besides these, it also has a small LCD screen for you to see your print status. There is also a USB port for your thumbdrive to ease printing. Personally, I feel that this printer is prefect for printing! I love scrapbooking so I usually print photo or pictures using this printer. The pictures comes out clear and not pixelated. I love it! It is also great for Scanning! Some printers takes a long time to scan a small picture. However, this printer scans fast and the scanned picture/text comes out clear. Copying is also made easy by the one-touch button to copy documents. It also has a paper feeder for copying purposes so that you could easily make copies. As for faxing, it can be easily connected to a phone line but I find the number buttons too small for my fingers - at times, I would press on other buttons/numbers. One big point to note, although this printer is great on functions, it is quite nosiy when it comes to printing. Other than that, this printer is perfect for its price.

We have not had luck with printers.  We seem to replace printers about every 6 months.  The past few we bought only lasted a few weeks.  Last time I bought one, I asked sales representatives what they recommended.  I was looking for a lower cost mullti-function printer.  This was a great choice.   It is a little bulky, but that is about the only complaint that I have.  Wel, the replacement ink is also expensive, but I have been buying replacement kits and have not had any problem at all using them.  THis printer prints clear and is pretty easy to use.  I have scanned several pictures and it does take several actions to do it, but it is easyand works well.  The printer also works well and so does the copier.  These are the things that I use the most.  I also like it that it tells you when something is stuck so you are not guessing what is wrong and how to fix it.  We have had ours for about 6 months and so far so good.

Was a good printer for about a year. Canon has obviously rigged their ink tanks to fail after they are refilled. I will never buy another Canon printer - their cute little corporate ink scheme has wasted too much of my time. Gives annoying 'Error 5200' message usually after ink cartridge changes - whether or not you are refilling. What a ridiculous waste of time and money. When you seen the name 'Canon', turn and run. I think the word actually means 'trash' in another language.

This is my third Canon printer, and I love it. I have tried several other brands of printers, and have never been as satisfied as I am with Canon. The Canon MX330 is an All-In-One printer. I use it at work, and it surely gets a workout! I do not use the fax function, but the other functions are great. The thing I love the most about this printer is that it is very easy to use. It has a display screen that is easy to read and understand. It has a top feeder, which I love. It makes scanning and copying so much easier and more efficient. If I have one bad thing to say about this printer, and Canon printers in general, is that when you first print, it takes a bit for it to warm up. That can sometimes be a little frustrating. But, aside from that, I highly recommend this printer.

The Canon MX330 is a very economical, versatile and high quality machine. It does all three of its functions well. While some say that you can't get top performance out of a machine that tries to do everything, the MX330 comes close enough for the average home user. The price is well within reach of most budgets, even though it's a Canon. You would normally think a Canon would be a high cost item, but that's not the case with the MX330, especially when you realize that it takes the place of THREE machines. Buying those three individually would be highly expensive, consume lots of space, and would be costly to purchase and replace ink, which is not cheap even for ONE machine. The print product is clean looking very suitable for most general printing output. Color products are equally good. Personally, I wouldn't use it to produce my favorite photos, but for other tasks, this printer does well. The fax does its job credibly and fast, has all the usual capabilities you expect from a fax machine. The scanner is very good. It produces excellent results, as you would expect from Canon. It doubles as a copier as well. I use the scanner for document archiving as well. It scans absolutely accurately and produces top-notch results that you can save for posterity. The scanner has an adjustable cover that accepts books, magzines and thick items without having to be concerned about the cover being open and creating large black frames around the final product. This is an extremely versatile machine truly usable both for home needs and office tasks as well. One caviat - Canon inks are expensive, but if the machine is used judicially, it's worth the cost when compared to using professional office service providers. If you like, you can always refill the old Canon ink cartridges. Bottom line is that the Canon MX330 is a very cost-effective all-in-one machine that will simply do most printing, faxing, copying and scanning tasks with easy and very good results. I've owned mine for quite some time, and have had not problems with it as yet. I highly recommend this machine to everyone. The software provided is very versatile as well. It's a Canon - known for quality.
