My husband needed to fax papers in to his work and he always had to go to his parents house to do so. Well we decided to find a printer that can fax, so we didn't have to go to his parents house everytime he had to fax a paper in to his work. I found Canon Pixma all-in-one printer on Walmart.com and decided to purchase it. I am really pleased I did. This Printer faxes, prints, and copys papers. I order online a lot and have to print the order details and this printer does a great job printing. My husband can fax without having to go other places to do so. Now resently we copy a lot more. My husband got promoted to a supervisor and he has to print and copy schedules for all his employees. I even bought picture paper and printed my own pictures off before. The pictures turned out nice. But for the amount you pay for the picture paper and have to replace the ink cartridge faster, it is just cheaper ordering prints from the store. The only negative about this printer is that we can fax but we can't receive faxes. I would recommend the Canon PIXMA all-in-one printer. It has everything we need in a printer.

When it works, it's okay. But be ready for a headache. I recieved one of these as a Christmas gift. It took me two months to get parts that were not included in the packaging- parts that are vital to the operation of the machine. What part, you might wonder? A USB cable that fits in the incredibly awkward-shaped port in a hard to reach access panel. But I can overlook that; it saves so much office space! Except that it has become an overpriced coaster in roughly two weeks of use. It quickly stopped feeding paper after a little under three weeks of sporadic use. In trying to print the last document, that took about six tries mind you, it used almost half of the ink reserves. The only part that still functions at all is the scanner. Which I can commend, if only in that it scans in high-quality and high-resolution. Although the default software does not like high-quality image formats. Stay away from this printer.

This printer cannon pixma mx300 has been a great product that I had bought in my life. This device is very friendly to use, easy to program, and easy to navigate. While they might be other great products for printers out there this device does the job for me. Just buy comparing the small size it is very eficient and super fast when printing large quantities of paper. I have printed from other more expensive printer and in bigger sizes buy they just cannot compete with this tiny super fast printer. While the other printer are designe to print alot of paper they do not do the same job as being fast, reliable, greeat picture resolution, and easy to print. Just buying this device is very affordable but what is very espensive is the ink that one has to use. With the features of all in one inkjet printer it is your litltle personal assistant that will help you multitask and do more favors while being one in one all product. While this printer is the best, the scanning feature is also good. It is quick and has great resolution. The copy feature is great to as it copys faster than regular printers while avoiding the delay that old copier give you.The only cons for this device is that the ink wont dry that quickly and will sometimes smosh the paper affecting the quality of the print.

My old All-In-One printer was starting to wear down so I went shopping for a replacement.  I needed one immediately and the Canon MX300 series all-in-one was a great value.  The replacement ink cartridges seemed inexpensive (and I print quite a few documents on a daily basis) so I decided to give this printer a try!  It was extremely easy to set up, the fax and scanner functions are easy to use and it is compact enough to easily fit in my home office area.  On the downside, the ink cartridges don't seem to last long and need to be replaced frequently.  Also, it prints much slower and seems louder then my HP printer.  I would not recommend this to someone that does a lot of printing and/or needs things to print quickly.  However, it seems perfect for someone that does not print very often.  It is a good 'starter' or 'casual use' all-in-one solution.

I have had this printer for about a year now and love it. I had to replace the last printer that I had had for about nine years. This time I wanted something that I could do a little more with but stick within a budget. I searched online and found good reviews with this machine and also waited for it to go on sale. I have used the scanner function on it frequently and have been impressed with it but haven't used the fax portion because we haven't designated a separate line for it yet.  I print out copies everyday on it and have only had a couple of jams on it that was easily cleared.  It is easy to replace the cartridges-although it does seem to take a lot of them. I don't know much about ink cartridges, but when it says it's time to replace, it sure looks like to me that there is a lot of ink left in the cartridge. I do work past their time sometimes and then I use one of the local office supply stores ink refund programs to cut cost.

I was very surpirised by all that this printer does.  It works great with my computer.  It does run a little slow when you change from one thing to another ( copy to scan or print to copy) but otherwise it is a great printer for the money.

This Canon MX300 is by far the best printer I have ever owned (and that is alot of printers). I have had this printer for over a year now and I have discovered that it is very quick and easy and does everything I need and or want it to do. It can even be used as a fax machine copier or scanner. It is worth every penny I paid to buy this incredible machine. It is extremely reliable and has yet to fail me to this day. The only slight negative about this printer is that it tends to be on the loud side. It does have a quiet setting for night time use that using this setting does slow the printer down significantly. Outside of these two minor issues the printer is overall a great buy. It prints, copies, and scans and a high quality and a great speed. I strongly recommend this item to anyone looking at buying a printer for the first time or upgrading from a troublesome printer. This Canon MX300 will not let you down.

I own a Canon Pixma MX300 multifunction printer, copier, fax, and scanner.  This is my second printer in about nine years.  My last one was a Canon also, and I really liked how well it worked, and how long it lasted  This is a fantastic multifunction machine! It prints beautifully, and is not nearly as loud as my last printer. It makes great copies, and scans nicely. It does not use an inordinate amount of ink, which is a major plus.  I refill my own cartridges, which is a bit of a hassle, but saves me quite a bit of money...costs about one-third of the price of cartridges.  The scanner works just fine, and is handy to have included in this product.  I have not yet used the fax, but I am sure it will work well also, as the other aspects of the machine are great. I have a small home business, and this has been the perfect working machine for me.  It's more like a workhorse. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive small office multifunction product.

This was a good find. I don't know much about printers. I am all about things that are basic and easy to use. This Cannon is bulky, so make sure you have room for it. The cartridges are easy to install, and I recently found out very easy to refill which will save quite a bit of money. A refill kit for each cartridge is less than the cost of 1 black cartridge. I have printed plain documents, coupons, greeting cards, stamps, and many other projects. Everything came out amazing. Scanning things is also simple. I recently scanned a bunch of older color pictures and black and whites to my computer. All I can say is "EASY"! And of course copies come out wonderful, whether in color or just black. Even if the page is colored, you can copy in just black with the press of a key.  In addition to regular paper, I have used photo paper, stamp paper, labels, envelopes are simple as well. The only thing I can't comment on is the fax, as I have not used it yet. Functional and practical, inexpensive solution to any home's needs. I would even use this if I had a small business.

Great workhorse of a multi-function.  Had mine for over a year now and used heavily for home business.  No muss, no fuss - works EVERY time.  Cartridges are a little steep, as with all machines now, and ink saver function does help with no loss of quality on printing.  Scanner does a beautiful job of reproducing any photo or document (hard to differentiate copy from original at times!).  TRUE, TRUE, TRUE color reproduction.  Is a littlelarge for desktop, but positives more than make up for a little extra space.  Fax works flawlessly.  I LOVE this machine!
