I recently found myself in dire need of a printer when, in the middle of printing resumes, my printer decided to commit suicide. Being pressed for time, I drove out to Best Buy to see what my choices were. My hopes weren't high as I browsed the offerings. There were a few options I needed. I needed an all-in-one for scanning and copying and I needed it to be wireless because of the multiple PCs in various locations. Finally, I was on a budget and limited in what I could spend. My choices were slim by the time I was done and I settled on the Canon Pixma MP620 thinking it would be an OK choice.
Boy was I wrong! So far this little machine has impressed the heck out of me. Great quality prints & pictures, easy to set up, and very affordable. It even has an automatic door so that output won't jam when idiots like me forget to leave it open. Printing and scanning speeds are quite good, around 25 ppm for black and 15 ppm for color and a quality color 4x6 photo in about 40 seconds.
The one downside, and it's not a biggie, is that it doesn't allow for duplex printing which I believe most Pixma's had in the past. Again not a major issue for me, just wanted to mention it for anyone who needed that option.
