Don't even consider buying this digital camcorder

married, cost-conscious, a person who enjoys quality, not rich, a home owner, a comparison shopper

This Video Camcorder just quit working one day when we needed to videotape a very special activity. It was still under warranty so we sent it in to be repaired & didn't get it back until several month later so missed out on several other important actities we wanted to videotape. When we finally got it back it worked for only a couple of months then the same problem occurred. The warranty had then expired so we never got it fixed again. I am extremely disappointed since we paid several hundred dollars for it. I would not recommend it to anyone.

We received this camcorder as a baby shower gift and we love it. It is easy to use for a beginner and takes good video. The only issue we had was when we didn't have a digital camera we tried to take still pictures and the quality is poor. This camcorder has good battery life and is easy for everyday use.
