We wanted a video camera to capture the special moments of the first year of our little son's life. I wasn't looking for the greatest camera with the fanciest features. I wanted a good camera with some zoom and as little fuzz from shakiness. I received this one as a gift from my family and I am happy with it. We saw it was on a great sale (about half the price) and my folks snagged it. We've made several short videos and the quality is nice. The picture does not fuzz when we zoom in or out and the subject or the video-holder moves. The zoom is more than sufficient. The camera takes a high-speed memory card that can then traslate over to the computer for storage and web upload. It also takes decent still photos which is nice for fun and if you don't want to take around a separate camera. The picture could be a bit higher definition, but then again, I didn't want to go for the price of an HD video camera. So I can't really complain!
