This is the ideal camera for someone that wants to get into a higher end of photography. The quality of the photos taken is great, although, photos do require knowledge of the manual settings. My photos come crisp and compared to other brands and the older lower end canon i had, the quality is impecable. The price was and is a turn off to most beginners but with taking the time to learn how to use manual settings in different lights, environments, etc, i have been able to drastically improve my photos and skills.
