Canon - EOS 400D/Rebel Xti Digital Camera —

The Canon EOS Rebel XTi is a great SLR (Single Reflex Lens) Camera for those who are thinking about getting into a more professional level of photographer.

The camera comes with a charger, basic battery, and CD rom to install on your computer. Although you can use the bundled software, you can find better options on the web, including Microsofts scanner and photo wizard.

The camera comes with 7 automatic modes for portrait, landscape, up close, running, night, no flash and then an auto mode.

The other side of the dial consists of 5 manual modes for those more experienced with phrases like Shutter Speed and ISO.

The photos using the auto mode turn out great, especially since cameras these days have a great set of instructions built in to how they should take photos.

Although the use of a compact flash drive isn't as nice as using an SD card, the fact that you can hook up your camera using a USB cable makes up for it.

The only things that throw me off a little are the fact that you can't shoot more than 24 photos in burst mode.

Burst mode consists of 3 frames per second (3 photos per second) and you hold down the shoot button for the amount of time you'd like to take photos for. This is great for rolling photos in which you have something going on, typically used by skateboarders.

For those looking for something more than a point and shoot and dipping into the world of manual modes, this camera's perfect for them.
