So many features, Easy to use, great pictures, Ease of Use, Excellent picture quality

Cons

Beginner may be overwhelmed, Should come with a memory card, add on lenses are expensive

Canon - Digital Rebel XT / EOS 350D, 18-55mm Lens Digital Camera —

I love this camera! Before this, we had a very simple digital, one of the first to come out and this was a huge step up! It takes great photos, and is relatively easy to use. I say that because if you've never used a 35mm with all the settings, bells and whistles, you could very easily be overwhelmed. I would recommend taking a digital photography class (came with our camera when we bought it) or planning on spending a bit of time with the manual learning how it works and what all the buttons and such are for. Once you get the hang of it, WOW! We basically use ours for family pics, but my husband builds websites as a side job and quite often uses the camera to take pics for that purpose and his clients have always been pleased with the results. Certainly an investment--especially if you purchase additional lenses--but well worth it!
