This product is very easy to use, and very convenient in the fact that you record and then pop it into the DVD player to watch. The problem is that you can't just go purchase any blank disc from Wal-mart or wherever you shop. It takes a certain disc, and then sometimes, you have to put the camcorder on a certain setting and let a disc initialize. The only blank disc that I have been able to get to work in this camcorder is a blank 30 minute disc from Wal-mart that can't be edited. I wasted money on blank disc because the infomercial nor the box specifically specifies this before purchase. I purchased from a home shopping TV program at a supposedly discounted price and it was non-returnable. I would suggest to other buyers before purchasing this camcorder or any camcorder for that matter is to find out what blank disc they use and where they can be purchased.
