CanoScan Lide 20 Scanner produces great quality image!
I owned this scanner for almost 7 years now, still works like a charm although it's kinda outdated by now, other more advanced scanners have flooded the shelves. The main purpose at first was to convert pictures from my old photo albums to digital for keepsake, but I use it extensively for document/record scanning. It produces images in great details, the dpi ranging from 150 to 700 I think, depends on the type of format you choose to scan. The scanned picture is true to color, details are crisp and sometimes better than the originals. The flipside is that it doesn't come with pdf format for document converting purpose, one feature I wish it could have had because it would look more professional to send a pdf file than jpg image. Other thing is that it takes a long time, 2-3 minutes to boot and recalibrate when plugged into the computer. Scanning speed is getting slower and the noise can be annoying at times.
