CanoScan Lide 20 Scanner produces great quality image!

Comments about Canon CanoScan LiDE 20 Flatbed Scanner:

I owned this scanner for almost 7 years now, still works like a charm although it's kinda outdated by now, other more advanced scanners have flooded the shelves. The main purpose at first was to convert pictures from my old photo albums to digital for keepsake, but I use it extensively for document/record scanning. It produces images in great details, the dpi ranging from 150 to 700 I think, depends on the type of format you choose to scan. The scanned picture is true to color, details are crisp and sometimes better than the originals. The flipside is that it doesn't come with pdf format for document converting purpose, one feature I wish it could have had because it would look more professional to send a pdf file than jpg image. Other thing is that it takes a long time, 2-3 minutes to boot and recalibrate when plugged into the computer. Scanning speed is getting slower and the noise can be annoying at times.

Really Great Scanner

Comments about Canon CanoScan LiDE 20 Flatbed Scanner:

I received this scanner as a gift a couple of years ago and have really enjoyed having it. It is easy to set up and easy to use, which is great for those who may be less tech-savvy than others. This scanner is extremely easy to install and set up. You'll have the capability of scanning photos within about 10 minutes of getting it out and setting it up, which is awesome. This scanner draws its power through the USB chord, which is a wonderful amenity as it is one less thing you have to worry about plugging in. The price for the scanner is extremely reasonable and well worth the money. It has a very slim design which is nice because it takes up little space and it is also light weight which is nice for older people who may not be able to lift heavy objects. The scanner comes with software for your computer for easy set up. The scanner runs fairly quickly, meaning it doesn’t take long to scan a photo which is another great feature.
