Canon CanoScan CS4400F Flatbed Scanner —
I love the Canon 4400f scanner. I've been using it for a few months and find the quality very good. I don't use many of the features on the scanner, such as scanning negatives, but for the simple uses I have I find it easy and effective. I like the fact that I can scan a multiple page document and have it stored on my hard disk as one document. On my previous scanner, a three page document would be saved as three separate files. The only negative comment I have would be the time it takes for the first page to scan. A message comes up on my computer screen telling me not to open the lid because the lamp is being adjusted. Nothing seems to be happening, so I guess its just a silent process --- not even the light comes on during this time. The additional pages scan more quickly. Overall I am quite satisfied with this unit.
