Canine Hardware Chuckit Jr. —
I have a very energetic Corgi who is almost 4 years old but has the same energy he did as a 1 year old. As a Corgi he is a hearding dog, so he loves to have jobs and run around and around and around and around. I have never had my dog tire out before I do. We could play cetch for hours a day but I usually give up because the ball is either COVERED in slober or my shoulder hurts so bad from throwing it.
With the chuck it I am able to pick up and throw the ball with out touching it, so the slobber does not become a problem. I also can sit down while I throw the ball and do not have to bend over to pick it up or have my dog drop it in my lap.
Using the chuck it takes a few tries to master. The real trick is to flick your wrist instead of using your whole arm. The ball will fly much further than you are able to by throwing it yourself and it takes MUCH less work. My dog still does not tire by the time I am ready to stop but he sure is breathing harder and I am not stopping because of discomfort anymore but instead because I am bored.
The price on this item is also VERY afordable and well worth the cost.
