17 year old dog has been eating it for 8 years

My 17 year old piebald dachshund loves Canidae Platinum. With few grains or sugars he hasn't developed any organ problems or diabetes. He does not have noticable arthritis or back problems partially due to the Gloucosamine Chondriotin. The amount of vitamins in this is amazing.

The one food you can completely trust... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I have four dogs which one of them has horrible skin allergies.  After months of medication, I put them on Canidae Platinum and his allergies got much better.  I ran out and put them on regular food and unfortunately his allergies came back.  Now he is back on Canidae and his allergies are clearing up again.  All of my dogs, including my older dogs seem so much healthier on it.  I always get compliments on their coats.  It seems alot more expensive but one bag of Canidae lasts twice as long because you dont have to feed as much because it does not have all the fillers.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND... read full review »

Finally - I got it right!
have a great veterinarian, not rich, like to please my canine friend, considers safety, animal lover, a lover of all living things, likes organic product, an animal lover

After searching high and low for a food that my 7 year old dog likes, was affordable, and provided all natural nutrition, I have finally got it right! 

This is a great brand that I feel comfortable giving to my dog.  All meat is human grade and it is made with brown rice - not corn or filler.  The best part - he inhales his food as though it is the best thing he has ever eatten!  My dog has always been finicky so this was a huge breakthrough for us.  I have noticed that he has more energy and his coat is shinier to boot!

I switched my dog to Canidae a few months ago, and it is great. The ingredients are very high quality, and you'll be able to tell from your dog's coat. You can't beat the price either for the quality you're getting, compared to other premium foods. In comparison to grocery store foods, there is much less filler so that you don't have to feed your dog as much. Highly recommended!
