extremely high quality food, less chance of an allergic reaction

Canidae is a high quality food, good value for the money. The flavor must be good, my dogs (all 10 of them!) love it. The single source of protein helps if you have any allergy-prone dogs too. And they have other varieties like Lamb and Rice. I highly recommend it.

I have a 3 year old female toy poodle, who is very, very picky about her foods. I've been feeding her Canidae Chicken & Rice Dry formula for about 2 monthes now. At first she seemed liked she liked it, but after a few days she stop eating it. Problem was that the kibbles are a bit too big for her mouth (she only weights 3.5pounds), so I start crushing the kibbles and fed it to her, and she was fine after that but stopped eating agian after a few days. So now I mix crushed kibbles and a spoonful of Canidae chicken & rice canned food together and She seems to really really like it. And so...

Best dog food on the market

a dog owner, selective about pet food, willing to pay more for quality, dog lover, concerned w/safety & comfort of my pets, budget-conscious

This dog food was recommended by my local pet shop owner. My Weimaraner has terrible skin allergies. He's been allergy tested and all of his "official" allergies were environmental. However, I had been feeding him allergen safe foods to be on the safe side. The pet shop owner recommended switching to Canidae because she had seen good results with her dogs at home. It was less expensive than the other brand, so I switched. I noticed a result in my dog's coat within a week. He now seems less itchy and sheds less too.
