Campbell's Vegetarian Vegetable Soup is a winner!

Comments about Campbell's Vegetarian Vegetable Soup:

I'm a HUGE soup person when it comes to having the perfect main course for a healthy lunch that covers all of the food groups. When I want ALL of my favorite vegetables combined, cooked nice and soft in a delicious broth that I just CAN'T resist, I pick Campbell's Vegetarian Vegetable with my toasted tuna sandwich and grapes. All I have to do to enjoy it is pour it in a bowl and pop it in the microwave, and it's always on sale for such a low price so I can stock up my pantry with it for two weeks. Count on Campbell's!

A bit salty but tasty

Comments about Campbell's Vegetarian Vegetable Soup:

Campbell's Vegetarian soup is a must for the new vegetarian (or old) or someone who is trying to eat healthier. It is tasty, but some might find it a bit too salty for their liking. I wouldn't recommend anyone with high blood pressure, or any reason to restrict salt from their diet, to eat canned soup. If you want to be super healthy make it yourself at home. If you are like me and hate cooking, enjoy Campbell's Vegetarian Vegetable soup.

Too salty for me

By

from Lothian, MD

Comments about Campbell's Vegetarian Vegetable Soup:

I'm vegan now, so I don't eat this as it has egg in it. However, I found it okay before I was vegan. Something quick to make after I came home from school. It has quite a bit of sodium so I'd sometimes dilute it or just not drink all the soup. But overall it was pretty good.

I wish this came in a bigger can because it barely filled me up and I'd be looking for something else to munch on. Maybe put some crackers in it to get some starch in there.

Overall, I wish campell's had more vegetarian and vegan friendly products. The classic tomato and a few odd cans are the only ones I can eat, and it's frustrating because these are usually the cheapest out of all the soups. Amy's soups are healthier but 2-3 times more expensive. Don't get me started on progresso though, they have very little for vegans minus the tomato, and the creamy tomato...not even.

One thing campell's just add instead of more sodium is more unique spices to enrich the flavors in their soups.

I ,also, dont eat alot of meat and this soup has always been so satisfying. It is a staple item in my pantry . It pairs perfectly with saltine crackers. Cambells has alot of choices of delicious soups. I try to keep my family's favorites on hand. I even have the Cambells soup mugs.

Vegetarian Vegetable Soup is Still the Champ in My Book!!

By

from SmallTown, TX

Comments about Campbell's Vegetarian Vegetable Soup:

I grew up on this soup. My mom kept it as a staple for me because I was such a picky eater and she knew I would eat this with no problems. A big glass of milk, some buttered crackers and vegetarian vegetable soup and I was happy. I grew away from it for a few years, but have gone back to enjoying having it around. If nothing sounds good to eat on a particular day, I pull out my old favorite. This soup just never changes. It tastes the same as it did when I was a kid. I am not a big fan of meat anyway, so this soup is a treat for me. As long as Campbell's continues to make this soup, I will continue to have at least one can in my pantry. I highly recommend this soup to anyone that likes vegetarian soup.

mmm mmm good!

Comments about Campbell's Vegetarian Vegetable Soup:

I grew uo watching the television commerials with the campbells kids singing;"Mm Mm good, Mm Mmm good, that's what Campbells soups are Mm mm good." I did not find out about Campbells 10.75 ounce can of Vegeterian vegetable soup until about 5 year ago. I had just begun trying to cut down on meat and was searching the grocery aisles for alternatives. For those who are used to beef or beef broth includedin vegetable soup, this soup may taste a little bland. It took some getting used to but now I love it. Whenever I do not feel like making my own meat free vegetable soup, I open a can of Campbell's. This soup has less sodium because they use sea salt. You mix a can of soup with an equal can of water and get 2 and 1/2 servings. That is only 225 calories per can. Eating healthy takes some getting used to but there is a payout in time. The only thing I don't like is I can remember when a an of Campbell's soup was 11 1/2 ounces. They are shrinking the cans.
