I used to love Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, esp. back in the 60s/70s but the taste now is horrible. What happened to what used to be a very tasty soup??? So disappointed..... I will never buy another can! I am throwing out the rest of a recently purchased can. What could count for a high rating???!! Certainly not the taste now! What happened to such a wonderful tasting soup????

I have always loved Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, as a kid it was my favourite soup, we always had it in our pantry. Now as an adult I always keep several cans of this in my cupboard at all times, I love eating it mixed with a can of milk as a soup, or I mix it into casseroles, in beef stroganoff, tuna casserole, as a sauce for chicken or pork. The list goes on and on.

My whole family loves mushroom soup. I have tried different kinds of mushroom and the Campbells Cream of Mushroom Soup is at the top of my list. It is creamy and tastes so good warmed up with a can of water/milk to make a soup, especially on those cold or rainy days. My son actually says mushroom soup is his favorite and I usually use this brand. I find that this soup is a great price. It's really only pennies more than off brands so I know it won't make much of a difference if I get Campbells instead. I like mixing this soup with beef, sour cream and a little milk on top of egg noodles. It tastes like a beef stroganoff. It also goes well in casseroles and meatloaf. There are so many uses for mushroom soup. It's strong tastes brings a lot of flavor to dishes or is great just to have in soup with some crackers. This soup has just the right amount of seasonings in it and has a yummy mushroom taste to it. My only suggestion is that when you mix this up for soup that you only pour in a little bit of the can of milk/water at a time to add to it. Then mix and keep doing that back and forth. It makes for a smoother soup. Otherwise it can get a little clumpy. Definitely a favorite soup!

I have used this soup many times in many different casseroles and I have yet to be dissappointed in it. The flavor is great as is the texture. I love that they have a recipe on the back, every time I am tired of my old' faithfuls, I will try one of them. Ever ones that I thought I wouldn't like have turned out well! Using the can soup really makes the dish taste better, while cutting back on the work. A lot of the recipes that I use contain 4-5 ingredents, and are really great to make in a hurry. I always make sure that I stock up on it while it is on sale :) I love that on their website they offer coupons, makes it even easier to get it at a good price. Perfect for a cheap meal, but you don't have to sacrifice flavor for quality at all. Cambpells stands behind their products, so you can be sure that you get the very best that they have to offer. I am defiantly a buyer of campbells mushroom soup for life, and I definitely will recommed this product.

I absolutely love campbells cream of mushroom soup. My mother and I use this to make homemade chicken and noodle soup. The creamy base soup takes cooking to a whole other level. In our household homemade soups aren't the same without adding this to our soups. One can do a lot with campbells cream of mushroom soup such as making green bean casserole, creamy mac and cheese, chicken and rice bake and the list goes on. This is a must have and a kitchen staple! Love it!

Every so often when I see it on sale, I will buy a few cans of Campbells Cream of Mushroom soup. Since prices have inflated, I have bought less and less of it because the cans are kind of small and are not able to be stretched much. Its good on its own, and I also use it in green bean casserole. When I make it in soup form, I never put the suggested full can of water in, I only do half of a can so the soup stays a little bit thicker to help make up for the lack of mushroom bits in it. I wish they would bulk it up a bit more, its really more like mushroom flavored gravy than soup. It is nothing too special, bit it is still pretty good! Also pretty low in calories, I like to eat it as an in-between meal snack I would recommend this product, but be sure to prepare others for the lack of bulk in it and suggest that they look up recipes to use it in, or find out some good ingredients that they could throw in the pot with it

I have been buying Campbell's cream of mushroom soup for years. It is the best kind of mushroom soup I have found. As the label says, it is great for cooking. I've used it in many dishes over the years. I've never chosen to eat this by itself but it has a really good flavor so I'm sure it would also work well plain, as just a soup.
