Most HelpfulMy husband made a joke when he saw a commercial for Camp Rocksaying "I know you're going to DVR that!" He thought it was funny, but didn't know I really was going to DVR it. I love Disney and I watch almost every new Disney movie. From the second I saw the commercial for Camp Rock on Disney, I...

Most HelpfulIf you have kids, you probably watch Disney channel. If you watch Disney channel, you know the Jonas Brothers. They are Yet ANOTHER dull, bubble-gum, pre-teen, fake pop band.
Think this year's Hilary Duff, or this week's Hannah Montana. The lyrics are vapid, themeless fluff and the "music" (if you can...
read full review »The movie premeried on the Disney Channel tonight. Both my daughters (ages 11 and 13) informed me they must be home by 8:00 because they just had to see this movie. After all Disney has been advertising it for months on end.
I must admit, I didn't sit and watch it with them, however I was in the room for most of it. It's filled with your usual preteen stuff - rich vs. poor, the snobby girls, the heroine who thinks her life isn't great and wants a chance to be someone else, etc. It has a nice selection of music for young teens and most it has a positive message. Of course this is Disney,...
read full review »With great actors/musicians, Camp Rock is a fantastic movie for children and adults. It teaches a lesson, it entertains kids with the great music, and it has... THE JONAS BROTHERS! What more can you ask of a movie??? The hottest boy band of all times, catchy tunes, and a bit of comedy, Camp Rock is the perfect family movie!
Our whole family watched the premier of Camp Rock last night and LOVED it! It is yet another feel good tween movie from Disney that the entire family can watch. I am very glad for positive teen role models for my children and Disney has delivered (with the exception of Vanessa Hudgins which I still cannot understand why they keep her). The singing and dancing was really fun to watch. Everyone in the family enjoyed it and we have it saved on DVR for the kids to watch again.
Think this year's Hilary Duff, or this week's Hannah Montana. The lyrics are vapid, themeless fluff and the "music" (if you can really call it that) sounds vaguely like re-heated leftovers of a dozen similarly talentless fluff pop bands.
