Camberlain Security Garage Door Opener Series 7220 Review

An automatic door opener seems like a necessity to me.  I can open the garage door from the safety of my locked car, drive in, and close the door again before I unlock the car.  I can do the reverse on leaving my home.  I enter the garage from my kitchen door and am never our of a locked area.  We have experienced two home burglaries.  That makes us very careful about safety measures.  We've had this door opener several years, and we've had problems with it twice.  In both cases, one of the springs broke.  The service company came within hours of being called and replaced it in both cases.  This did not prevent us from getting our cars out of the garage nor are we confined if the electricity goes off.  It is very easy to disengage the elecrical mechanism from inside the garage so the door can be lifted manually.  I am a comparatively weak person and have done it unassisted.  It also has a safety feature that prevents the door closing if there is anything under it.  There is no chance of a small child or pet being hurt by its closing on them.
