Calvin College Review

Calvin College is a wonderful place to get a liberal arts education. I loved the small class sizes, challenging work, great faculty interaction, and warm community. Extracurriculars are uniformly high quality and enjoyable--athletics, music, clubs, etc. The core curriculum is quite extensive, but I love that it introduces you to subjects you might never have encountered otherwise. If you're looking at professional schools (medicine, law, etc.) after graduation, Calvin students' acceptance rates into grad and professional schools are outstanding. I couldn't have been happier with my college choice. Calvin isn't all that prestigious nationally, but while attending a top-10 law school, if I wasn't sure before, I'm became confident then that my education was as good and sometimes better than what I would have received at a more nationally known institution.
