Non Stick Wok

The Calphalon Simply Nonstick Hard Andodized Aluminum wok is a great pan to have, but it is not the most essential pan to your cooking collection. If you are on a tight budget, or do not use a wok on a regular basis, I would not recommend purchasing this pan. It is not a pan that I use on a regular basis. We ended up with this pan because we purchases a 10 piece calphalon non stick set, and this was a bonus gift with our purchase.

I have used the wok a couple times; I enjoy using it for stir frying and making fried rice. Other than that, I have not found uses for it at this time. It is something that I enjoy having and hope to find more uses for.

When using the pan, i enjoy using it. It is very durable; the food cooks evenly and does not stick to the pan.

Ease of Cleaning
The pan is slightly heavy, but besides that it is very easy to clean. It is recommended to clean by hand wish dish soap. there is not a lot of food that sticks to the pan due to teh non-stick.

Big and Heavy-- but good quality

I really like this wok, but I'm having a difficult time pulling it out because it is so bulky and a bit heavy. My friends have told me I can not live without this item, and maybe that will be true once I figure out how best to use it to it's full advantage. It takes up a lot of room in the cabinet.

Doesn't Stick
From what I've seen with this and other Calphalon products is that they do not struggle with stuck on food-- however I always use a spray just to be safe.

Heat Distribution
food cooks evenly.

Ease of Handling
The handle is easy to hold, but the item is very large and a bit heavy.

Durability
So far this item is holding up very nicely, although I don't use it daily.

This Wok Works Great

The Calphalon Nonstick Hard-Anodized Aluminum ok is great for making stir fry dishes. This wok is the best I've ever used. Initially I was looking for a cast iron wok but I'm so glad that I chose this Aluminum one. Food doesn't stick to the wok. It cooks the food very evenly and gives a great fresh taste. A few years ago we got rid of a less expensive wok as our food was always sticking to it and the bottom started to chip off. We haven't had any issues with this wok. We are more than pleased with our purchase. As we try to eat more healthy foods we are finings ourselves using our wok more and more often. It's great for making fajitas, chicken chow mein, and other various stir fry dishes! I definitely recommend Calphalon's wok for anyone who enjoys various stir frys, chinese foods, and mexican dishes. This wok combines flavors so well that you can truly savor each and every bite. It is very easy to maintain and clean. Get this wok, it's great!

You can't beat Calphalon

I registered for this large Calphalon wok to supplement the set of Calphalon pots and pans that I already owned and adored. Although I don't cook much Asian food, this wok has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of cookware.  The typical wok, it is a large size with curved bottoms, and I love using it for anything I don't want to sit at the bottom of the pan, but instead be tossed around.  I use it all the time for chunks of chicken or beef.  It has a great non-stick coating, which means you can use less oil and eat a little healthier.

This pan is very large, and is my go-to pan when my larger pots are dirty/in-use.  I've used it for boiling and large batches of sauces on occasion, and it works wonderfully for those purposes as well.  The handle is comfy and allows for that essential tossing motion without making your hand too sore.

I am a Calphalon believer.  I would rather spend money on this quality product than get something cheap and have to replace the cheaper product every five years.  I am sure that, since I take good care of it, this wok will last me forever.  That is just what you get when you buy Calphalon.

"Calphalon Nonstick Chicken Fryer Pan" A Must Have

I bought this, Calphalon Nonstick Hard-Anodized Aluminum 12-Inch Jumbo Chicken Fryer with Stainless-Steel Lid, to use as a chicken fryer.

It has become my favorite pan to cook in.

The anodized aluminum nonstick surface heats up quickly and evenly, stainless lid keeps ingredients most, and the brushed stainless handle is oven-safe to 450 degrees F.

I have cooked a lot of different things in this pan and nothing stick to the non-stick surface, not even thick starch.

Just brown your meat, (chicken breast, pork chops, steaks, ect.) using no oil, and onions, garlic, celery, carrot, or what ever vegetables you like, put lid on, turn down the heat, and simmer for about 30 minutes and you got a meal in one pan.

You can even steam rice in it if you want a rice dish.

With the non-stick surface, you don't need to use oil and clean up is easy.

If my,  Calphalon Nonstick Aluminum 12-Inch Jumbo Chicken Fryer, wares out, I will have to get another one.
