Calphalon Silicone Baking Mat Review

At first, I was skeptical about using these mats.  I thought that it would just be another item for me to wash during the clean-up.  I couldn't have been more wrong!!

All you have to do is lay them on your cookie sheets and put the cookies, pastries, bread, etc. on the mat.  They prevent whatever you are baking from sticking to the pan or burning.  And you don't need to worry about spraying or greasing your pans anymore, because everything just slides right off these mats.

To wash them, I just fill the sink and soak them for a few minutes in hot, soapy water...Absolutly no scrubbing or scouring involved!  The box said you can also put them in the dishwasher, but I think soaking is easier.  In addition, for the most part, the cookie sheet underneath doesn't get dirty, so I only wash them every 2-3 times I use them.  What could possibly be better!?!?

Macy's sells them in two sizes to fit all of my large and small cookie sheets and jelly roll pans.  I started out with 1 large and 1 small and after using them the first time, bought two more of each size!
