For years I thought a pot is a pot is a pot.  Then I got my first piece of Calphalon.  Now I'm a convert.  Food never cooked so evenly; clean up was never so quick and easy.  And the 16-piece set affrods you so many options.  After many years of fine cooking cuisine, a few of my favorites (the chef's pan) got a bit scratched up.  I couldn't wait until I got a replacement.  There may be more xpensive cookware, but none to match this set.
