Calphalon Nylon Utensils Review

My husband and I were tired of always feeling like we were purchasing nylon utensils for our non-stick pans to cook with. We had purchased other several brands of expensive cooking utensils, and still managed to seem like we were throwing money out the door. We went to a home store and started looking and comparing cooking utensils again. We were not only in the market for utensils, but also a new set of pots and pans. After spending several hours looking, we decided to go with the Calphalon Nylon Utensils and purchased a complete package set with crock. The set looks really nice and blends well with our stainless steel and black kitchen appliances. We have been using these for about 6 months and are quite happy with the money we spent. We have since gone back and purchased individual pieces and the value of paying anywhere from $6 to $15 per item is well worth it. We haven't had any problems with the handle getting hot from sitting next to the pan on the stove, no issues with the nylon melting while stirring the food in our pots and pans and the food seems to wash off nicely. The only problem that we encountered was some of our utensils don't have the shiny black look, but after purchasing some booster for the dishwasher, has brought out the nice black color. I would recommend this product to any newlyweds starting a new life together and perfect for a wedding present or house warming present.
