It is some of the best cookware I have used and now have. It is non-stick, cooks evenly, never have to use high heat when cooking. handles are not hot when you have to pick up the cookware. food is very tasty, meats very tender,and it cleans very easily.

I am a mother of five and grandmother of ten and I do alot of cooking and love good quality cookware.
These types of non-stick cookware are great in the beginning but over time they seem to peel their inner non-stick lining. Even when you use the plastic utensils they still peel over time.
I just don't believe that this is very healthy for any person.

I had received this set for my Birthday from a friend. When we unpacked the set we noticed the 8 Quart pot was scratched on the interior. This made the non-stick aspect of the pot worthless. I gave the pots back to my friend and he returned them to Amazon and had a new set sent out. When we received the new set the 8 quart pot again had scratches inside the pot. I thought I would contact Calphalon to inquire about the damage and see what they had to say. I called the Calphalon customer service number but was on hold for so long I gave up. I love this cookware! I is extremely durable, and it has lasted me many, many years. The inexpensive pots and pans I originally bought have all pooped out on me, and I have replaced them gradually with anodized cookware over the years. What a truly spectacular difference! I have had some of my anodized cookware for going on 6 years now, and they all could pass for almost new. Amazing, considering they have been soaked, put in the dishwasher, and occasionally had metal utensils used on them, all of which are strongly not recommended by the manufacturer. I love my Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick Cookware Set. I use it almost daily to feed my family of 3. The first set peeled after a few years, so I took it back to Bed Bath & Beyond. Calphalon offers a lifetime warranty, but you have to mail in the offending pieces for replacement. I had neither the time nor the energy to take it to the Post Office and send it back. Bed Bath & Beyond stands behind Calphalon's lifetime warranty and replaced the entire set for free, even the pieces that were still fine!!
