The oils can get very sticky and hard to get off. As for the inside of the pans, they clean very easy! I have gotten this calphalon 8 piece kitchen essentials cookware set as a christmas gift from my mother in law and really loved it.  I have had this kitchen set for over four years and it is still doing really good.  I used it everyday for lots of my frying with the pans, from eggs to bacon to meat and everything in between.  I don't use the smaller pot much, only when I am making sauces.  I wish the large pot is a little larger since I have a big family and when I make soup I use a different pot that is a lot larger.  It is non-stick so it is really easy to clean.   I also do make my vegetables with these and would use the lid to retain water and moisture.  The only thing I dont like about it is the plastic handle.  One of my pan handle must have caught some fire and it is a little melted. This is a great starting set for many starter and for a really good price.  I would reccommend this to anyone.

If there is one thing that I am willing to pay good money for, it is durable, good quality cooking essentials- and this set meets all those requirements, and more.  I love cooking with my Calphalon pots and pans and wouldn't think about using any other brand- EVER.  That's how much I love this brand. My Calphalon pots and pans are so durable.  They stand up wonderfully to day-in, day-out wear and tear.  They are perfect for cooking anything.  The hard-anodized coating means that they don't stick too much and that they are generally a breeze to clean.  They are heavy-duty, and after 5 full years of heavy use, they are in just as good of shape as the day I received them.  These will last me for years to come, if not for my entire life!  Calphalon pots and pans are an investment piece.  They are pricey to begin with, but so worth the money, as they are great quality and you will not have to keep replacing them.  The only pots and pans I buy these days are more Calphalon ones to supplement what I already have. If there is anything negative I could say about this set, and believe me, I had to think hard, it is that these pots and pans require a little more care and concern than just any old pan.  To protect the coating, it is best not to put them in the dishwasher or to use metal utensils on them (although someone else has used metal on them occasionally without knowing, and they've survived just fine). Not only would I recommend this product, but I have recommended it, to many people. And given it as a wedding or Christmas gift to several others.

The 8 piece Kitchen Essentials set from Calphalon has provided me with hundreds of delicious, quick meals with fast, easy clean up!  The pots and pans are so non-stick that I literally do not even need olive oil or butter to keep foods from sticking to them, and the clean up is so quick, I don't wince at the thought of doing dishes as I once did.  Knowing I can whip up a delicious meal so quickly and not have to labor over the clean up after has made owning this cookware set an absolute delight and I highly recommend it!

I received this set of cookware as a wedding gift, and I could not be happier with how well these pots and pans have worked out for my husband and I.  The set comes with a good variety of sizes so we always have the right size for what we are making!  In my experience, the pans heat very evenly which helps to make cooking a pleasant activity as opposed to allowing it to become a dreaded task.  Since the cookware is covered with a non-stick coating, clean up is not a hassle at all.  Even on the off occasion when my husband and I don't get to the dishes until the next morning, we haven't had any difficulties getting the pans clean.  The only down side I have found to these pots and pans is that the handles on the sauce pans tend to conduct heat just as well as the cookware.  Make sure to use an oven mitt when lifting them off of the stove or removing the covers--just in case!  Overall I am very pleased with this product.
