Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for Xbox 360 Review

I have to say this game is definitely the best in the series.  They did a great job at accomplishing their goal of making sure this wasn't just another typical first person shooter.  The online multi-player is amazing.  The best part is the fact that you can rank your character up while playing online by completing in-game challenges.  This results in unlocking different weapons and perks that are able to be equipped and used against your online opponents. The graphics are visually pleasing to the eyes.  The single-player is also alot of fun, and different from the rest in its genre.  You can unlock an arcade mode to go back thru and score points, or unlock achievements for completing certain boards on veteran after completing normal (or you can take on veteran right from the start), among other fun achievements that add to the gameplay.  The only downsides are the fact that it lacks local co-op, which I would enjoy immensly ... and we don't seem to be able to play split-screen multi-player like most shooters.  All in all it's a great game, worth the $60.
