We love this cream!! When my son was first born, he had perfect skin. After about a month, he began developing some serious baby acne. We tried everything to eradicate it and to help clear up his poor, angry looking skin. However, nothing worked. Enter California Baby's Calendula Cream. It is amazing! Seriously a miracle cream for little ones. It cleared up his baby acne within a few hours! We would reapply anytime he would get a breakout and it would quickly clear it. Now that my baby is a toddler, we use it for dry patches, scratches, and any other minor skin issue. It works like a charm. I couldn't ask for a better cream that I will feel safe about putting on my baby. The natural ingredients and great rating from EWG make me feel great about this product. Effectiveness It is the most effective cream for little ones that I have ever tried! Scent The scent is refreshing! Absorption It absorbs wonderfully!

There are no olis except coconut. There are also no alcohols, no wheat, no fragrance, and no chemicals! Most sensitive skin products, like Cetaphil, contain a moisturizing alcohol, to which many people with sensitive skin are allergic (and may not even know it). This is one the only moisturizers I can use without getting a rash or eczema. This cream is great for everything - not only for babies (it was recommended to a friend for cradle cap), but for adults. The calendula helps relieve redness from allergies and rosacia and it is a heavy enough product to keep my skin from drying out all day long (I am 30). It works wonders under makeup. This cream is great for treating your eczema as well, when you don't have it so itchy or in an area large enough to warrant a steroid cream. Most California Baby products have a slightly strange smell, but they are well worth it. For me, this is much better than the day lotion, which is too light, even for my hands and body. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who cannot find a product that moisturizes without discomfort, like stinging or burning. I even use this cream to take off eye makeup. It has never hurt my eyes and is an overall great product to have in the house. You can always use it or lets guests use it (which are usually the neighborhood kids) without having to worry that they may be allergic. Scent No great, but well worth it. Absorption No residue, rubs in quickly.

I was looking for a lotion to help my son with what doctors dismiss as excema. He is 7 and has very dry skin that gets spotchy red spots. I've tried everything even prescriptions stuff but nothing helps. I kept reading that Calendula was good for dry skin but the lotion I got from a homeopathy site wasn't helping and i was almost out. I desperately searched for a new Calendula cream and stumbled on to this. I figured why not try it, just one more cream for the cabnet. What a surpise! Within 2 days the red spots were clearing up. His skins was super soft and he loved the smell. It's a different, stronger lavender than I am used to but it was perfect for bed time. I use it after bath on him every night and no more red spots! I love it Effectiveness As I said above. This is the only thing that has cleared my son's skin. Red dry spots are now gone and have not come back! I would say 100% effective for us and smells good too. Scent It is not the light lavendar I am used to in other lotions and products. This one is a little stronger/maybe more spicy. It's not a strong scent but not what you would expect. Luckily my 7yr old son likes it and finds it relaxing! Absorption I've tried many lotions and most of them leave you greasy or take a while to soak in. This one is really good. It rubs in well and almost soaks into the skin instead of leaving a grease slick on the surface. Also leaves the skin very soft and smooth

I love this cream! I use it on my baby for his baby-massage time and the smell really calms him and the cream is easy on his sensitive skin. It is all-natural, and the scent is very subtle and not overpowering for baby and the cream is not too heavy like a lot of other creams, it did not feel extremely greasy or sticky. I actually use this myself for my dry patches and on baby's dry areas and irritated skin. The only downside is that this product is on the pricey side. However this 2 ounce jar has lasted me for about 3 months and I still have some left. A little does go a long way and I think it is well worth it for the quality you get with this cream. I highly recommend this cream to anyone with a baby!

I love this product. I mean really LOVE this product! The California Baby Calendula Cream was an answer to our prayers. My little guy had eczema at about 6 months. We were able to clear a lot of it up by switching to the California Baby bodywash, but he still had a few persistent patches. The California Baby Calendula Cream was the answer and gave immediate results. This cream helped so much! I had to apply it regularly and liberally, but his eczema patches really did begin to clear up. I felt good about using it (as I do all California Baby product) because I know that it is free from common allergens and nasty chemicals. This cream smells wonderful too! Wish I could use it everyday. My only complaint it that it is pricey, and doesn't go very far. I don't mind paying for products that I know will last forever, but this little tub didn't last long. The container is pretty tiny to begin with.

we cloth diaper, and whenever my daughter is teething, she will break out into a slight rash. i heard about california baby calendula, and we immediately bought it. i could tell there was a difference at once. she calmed down, and seemed less irritated. at the next diaper change, her rash was not nearly as bad. i have recommended this product to several friends and family members.  the thing i love the most about it is, it's not just for diaper area. it is a great all over boo boo cream. i've used it for scrapes that i've gotten, and it heals quickly and soothes in the process.  i love the smell of it, and the fact that it contains all natural ingredients. it's gentle and calming and is very versatile. it also is thin enough that it doesn't feel waxy or greasy. other diaper creams are so thick, they are hard to spread.  it is a little bit pricey, but it is worth it. and it lasts for a really long time.

When my twins were infants, I was looking for something for their eczema that would be safe and natural. I looked at California Baby Calendula Cream but I just couldn't stomach the cost for such a small container of ointment. Finally, after being disappointed with cheaper alternatives, I tried the California Baby Calendula Cream to treat their eczema. I was quickly converted and haven't tried anything else since. This cream is thick and instantly soothes irritations. I have also used it on my hands when I have what painful cracked skin from over-washing in the winter. It really helps calm the skin and heal it! As for the price, it is expensive, however this small jar goes much farther than I thought it would. You really only need the tinest bit to treat the skin and constant re-application is not necessary. Even one treatment brings my girls relief from their eczema. We will always keep this around for skin irritations; just another California Baby product that my family loves!

When our firstborn was about 10 months old, he started to suffer from some minor skin irritation issues; as he grew older, the problem became worse and he started to scratch his arms and legs so badly he would wake up with scabs and even some (minimal) bloody spotting on the sheets.  When we asked doctor(s) about his skin problems, all they would offer was a steroid cream (despite the fact that the instructions on the pkg stated not to use the product on children under 3!). I prefer to use products that are more natural, so I did my own searching... after trying many different things, I discovered California Baby Calendula Cream. I read review after review that raved over how well this cream worked and convinced my husband that this just might be the thing that would clear up the problems.  We finally decided we had nothing left to lose if we tried it.  And what do you know?  After several YEARS of skin troubles (our son is just a few months shy of turning 4), with just a few DAYS of use, the scratches and bumps are almost completely gone!  The scabs are nearly healed, and his skin feels soft and smooth again!  The product isn't cheap, but since you don't need to use a lot of it with each application, I think it will last a long time.  We use this cream on our 8 month old son for diaper rash and other irritations as well, and it works wonderfully. I really love that it's a natural product with many organic ingredients and is free of common allergens; it's something just about anyone can use.

When my youngest son was about a month old, he started to get baby acne and dry skin on his face. After researching what moisturizers were the best to use for his skin problems, I found that calendula cream was highly recommended. Because it is all natural, I was more than willing to give it a try. And boy, am I glad I did. The calendula cream started to work overnight. His skin was noticeably clearer in the morning and by day 2 or 3 it was almost completely clear. My older son occasionally gets outbreaks of excema around his mouth and we can't put hydrocortisone on his face, so I decided to try this cream. Although it was not as "miraculous" as it was on the baby, it definitely helped. I recommended this cream to my sister-in-law who's baby suffers from extremely sensitive skin and excema and she was amazed at how it helped. It seemed to immediately soothe the my niece's skin and the redness got much better very quickly.

This is a great product from a great company.  I have loved every product I've used by California Baby, but this one is particularly wonderful.  My son had eczema as a baby, and I tried a lot of products before I found this one.  This cleared it up in just a few days.  I've used it ever since, on dry skin, chafing, skin irritations, diaper rash, minor bumps, scrapes and boo-boos.  The calendula is a natural first-aid ingredient, and the cream itself is smooth and emollient.  I use it on MY dry winter hands, too.  It contains no chemicals, artificial dyes or perfumes, just pure essential oils.  It doesn't sting, it's not greasy, it absorbs well, and the kids love their "boo-boo cream".  I trust the California Baby company, and I would highly recommend this product to any parent looking for a gentle, quality, healing skin cream.  I hope all of you enjoy it as much as I have!  I'm sure you will...
