I was hoping to review the Dirigo 106 because I love mine so much,it can carry a lot of cargo without issue - the watertight rear compartment and in-dash storage are great! Your kayak buddies will wish they had them.  The bungies are great also for securing cargo to the deck. It's got an adjustable seat - very comfy, adjustable footpegs, also comfy. Plus this kayak is billed as a mostly flatwater kayak,it is maneuverable, and stable. The only possible negative comment is the shape of the hull seems to add some splash,

I think the sit-insides are much easier to handle. It didn't take me long to get the hang of the balance in his. He also has a sit-inside and it's 10 ft. I think it is a Perception. I'll have to review it after I take it out again. I think I'm going to have to get my own this spring or we are going to fight over his :)--Karen

My husband just bought a kayak at the end of October and we have been enjoying it. How long is yours and is this a sit on top version or sit inside? --Karen
