Good Sunscreen but Challenging to Apply
CVS's Baby Face sunscreen is a great product that I chose because of the safe and effective ingredients used in the product. This product was recommended by a website that rates sunscreen based on safe use on children. I bought this product for my fair-skinned one-year-old. My challenge with using it is applying it. The product comes in a stick form and I imagine that many parents, especially at the sandy beach, might prefer this type of application. I find it fairly easy to apply (though the stick is dry and you must work hard to apply it smoothly) but it does not rub in very easily. (Not a bad thing but it does leave my daughter looking like she has white make-up on her face.) However, this complaint is very minor compared to the benefits of the product. This sunscreen stick is broad spectrum, uses zinc dioxide (rather than ozybenzone) and is great for a baby's gentle skin o their face and ears.
