CSI Miami Review Summary

As the first spin-off the wildly successful CSI:Crime Scene Investigation series, some feel "this is the best because of the sensitive character developments and thoughtful scripts". Not everyone agrees, however, saying the show is "full of cliches and ridiculous stories.". No matter what you think of it, CSI:Miami is nothing if not colorful, right down to star David Caruso's thick mane of red hair. Renewed for a seventh season by CBS, CSI:Miami focuses on the efforts of Miami's Crime Scene Investigation to solve various crimes, usually some heinous murder. With officers like Lt. Horatio Caine (Caruso), Callegh (Emily Proctor) and Wolfe (Jonathan Togo) on the job, the task of solving crimes becomes interesting and entertaining as this show is not content to just solve crimes, but to involve itself in the personal lives of our cast. The show currently airs at 10 pm on Mondays on CBS,

I like and respect all of the CSI shows but in my opinion (and that of many other people I know), this is the best because of the sensitive character developments and thoughtful scripts.  Very often, it seems to me that these shows really are "taken from today's headlines" and relevant to reality. ...

CSI: Miami started out with promise, and an interesting look, but all too quickly feel apart -- full of cliches and ridiculous stories, with a is sadly easy to mock for all kinds of reasons -- the Carusobot acting, the Sunglasses and Hummer Of Justice, the constant underuse or misuse of other characters... review »

I just started watching re-runs of this show on A&E recently, and I have to say that I am hooked. I used to watch the original CSI, but, for some reason lost interest as time went by. I still occasionally catch a re-run here and there, but, I'm not an avid watcher. Then, one rainy Saturday, I was flipping through the channels and came upon this show.
WOW
It is so gripping and catchy. The stories are great, the scenery is beautiful, the actors are terrific, what more can I say. Now, I've set up a season pass on my DVR so I don't miss the new episodes!
I love David Caruso's character Horatio Caine...

Love this show.  It is action filled, keeps you on your toes.  Goes into details and explain steps along the way.  Not too goorie but just enough.  The charaters are attractive and diverse.  I make time for this show between full-time work; full-time school and full-time 2 kids and husband.  Nice scenes from miami.

Love this show, LOVE Horatio, and the rest of the "Family" because that is what you feel like you are with them weekly. Suspence, high class investigations, great interactions and just plain off the cuff wise cracks that are really funny but said with a "straight face", you gotta love it.

this by far is the best of the csi shows. started watching the 1st season and cant stop. the cast fits together nicely. i like the content of the show along with the personel relationships that have arisen. i wish speed was still with the show, but we always lose a few here and there. and id really like to see kali and delco get together. ive been waiting a long time for that. i often wonder if all the tests are actualy real tests, that can tell us anything. but even if they arent a enjoy watching every week.

CSI - what a show!  I hope it never ends!  I love watching the world of forensic experts.  And I also like the idea that the team really cares about the victims of crime.  They're not "just another body".  The way they interact with people and with each other is riveting.

watching csi maimi for the very first time i was hooked i really got to say the characters on the show are great.they all play a key role in each and every episode.the actors and actresses know their roles and know exactly how to get what they want when they want the answers from there intended victims to confess on what their crimes they have committed.david caruso who plays the lead role in the show he can be a real nice person when he wants to be and a real mean one too.so i say if you ever get the chance to watch this show i will gurantee you will be hooked on it like i am,even though at times...

Whenever we watch CSI Miami anymore we occupy our time by counting the number of times Horatio tilts his head and makes trite comments. They have become predictable and disappointing with the Cassie/Delko breakup. Hopefully the addition to the cast will overcome the eminent loss of Delko. It seems the writers are hell bent on never allowing a member of the acting ensemble to have a happy home life. Whenever anyone gets a wife, lover, etc. they take them away or cause so much trouble for the family you want to shoot yourself or the writers. Caruso, one of my favorite actors, has lately been "calling"...

After watching CSI, CSi New York, and CSI: Miami to me Miami is the best of the family.  Without falling into the trap Miami Vice followed by making the show about a few Columbian drug lords  CSI: Miami is new and crisp every week. It has the continuity of Homicide life on the street, with the color od Miami Vice will not losing the high tech CSI feel. I was not a David Caruso fan before this show, but I find his monotoned Horatio Caine a character worth watching. Although I still don't understand that whole head turned looking at the ground thing. But the key to the show is Emily Procter,...

I like CSI Miami's storyline. I have like David Caruso's cool detached get down to business personas he portrays since he played in "Jade" opposite Linda Fiortino. CSI Miami is not only entertaining but it also intrigues the mind. I hate to miss a single episode and will watch a weekend marathon even if I have viewed the episode before.

I also like the funny subliminal messages that are sometimes missed unless close attention is paid to the story.

I do not agree with the cons listed below because obviously I am a fan of the show.

CSI Miami shows crime scene work is not the average 9 to 5 job nor...

I wouldn't choose this CSI over the other two, but they are on different nights so I don't have too.  I like Horatio because he is "a good guy" and frankly there just aren't enough of them anymore.  He does his best to keep his promises and that is rare.  He is a bit cheesy but that just makes me laugh.  The other characters are great too although I do wish they would delve into their personal lives a little bit.  I mean, has there ever been an episode that showed where one of them lives?  They themselves are a mystery.  The cases they work are almost always unusual and entertaining.  I... review »

CSI MIami is a great crime show.  I enjoy watching this type of show, where they try to figure out the scene of a crime and who has done it.  The crime scene investigators are very good at their job.  Horatio makes the show what it is.. He has the greatest one liners of all.  You always wait for what comment Horatio is going to come out with.  My son says, "he is so cool."  I watch this show every week..It has some great subplots and I am glad to see Delco and Callie get together.  It has been a long time coming.

CSI Miami is a great show.  I am waiting for Calleigh and Erik to get together.  Horatio cracks me up when he does his side way stance, threats a crimal and then puts on his glasses.  I would definately recommend watching this show.  I will miss Alexx being on the show, but my husband was always creeped out when she spoke to the dead person, which is something she does every show.  I like Ryan, he is such a cutie.  He was a nice addition to the show.  Keep watching!

What What What were they thinking? I love this show despite David Caruso (horatio). He is so dead  pan, who told him that was sexy? And has he overshot the budget for the cheesecloths that they shoot him through? All that I can say is that it is a real testament to the rest of the cast that they can pull this show off and make it a big hit! There is a lot of (OTHER) talent on that show that really makes it! of couse, I wanna know.....Calleigh, ya know you want Eric, right? LOL!
