CROCK POT Smart Pot 5 Review

I am reviewing my Crock Pot Smart Pot. Until about four years ago, I never owed a crock pot. I was worried that leaving something pulled in all day while I was not at home. So when my husband and I renewal our wedding vows after ten years of marriage, I decided to put one on my list. When I got it, it sat in the box for about 4 months. I decided to try it one day when I was home. The first thing I cooked in it was pot roast. That was the best pot roast I have ever had. Before I would cook it in the oven, and sit with it for hours and hours. I cannot believe I use to cook like that. It made my house hot and cooked my food uneven.

Now I cook tons of stuff in it. I cook pot roast, beef strips, potatoes and sausage, chili. Not only is it soo easy to cook it, my house is not hot, my house smells great from the food, and it tasted great.I have no concerns leaving it cooking and not being at home.

I only have one complain is I have to cook my hamburger meat first when cooking chil because of the grease.

Oh I was also concerned that the meat wouldnt be cooked all the way, but that was not true.
