CROCK POT 8 quart slow cooker Review

My Crock- Pot eight quart crock pot is huge! I got it at a great price and it is perfect for slow cooking meals for a large family or maybe even a group get together or holiday parties. It doesn't have many features. It has and high and low heat setting for slow cooking, and then a warming feature for keeping the  meal and a good temp before eating. I really like my eight quart crock pot, but I do have to day that I use a smaller one more often, because the majority of the time I don't need that much. I discovered also that the removable ceramic dish is not oven safe, so be carefull. I put mine in the oven and it cracked right in half, yikes. So I highly suggest using the warming feature or reheating food in a seperate microwave or oven safe dish. Other than that, I think it's a great product and I have had mine for several years and it has served me well. Try using it for a large batch of chilli to freeze for the winter.
