I actually went to buy the small crock for cheese dips but soon realized the smaller unit would only hold a cup which for a family or guest just would not work and I discovered that the small crock temperature could not be a adjusted but this pot can be. The Crock-Pot 3-Quart Slow Cooker SCR300-SS / SCR300-R-NP is the perfect in-between size with all of the pluses of the biggest units. Time to Heat Another great advantage is the distribution of heat. It heats evenly and it doesn't seem to take any time to bring it to the desired temperature. Cooking Performance Wow I am so impressed with these newer crock pots. They have everything we loved in the old ones but a lot of new features. Especially being able to cook meat/potatoes/carrots without the vegetables cooking to mush. I had just purchased a larger unit and ended up buying this one so I had a smaller unit to use particularly heating cheese. This unit melted the cheese without scorching or sticking. Note: I did pre- spray the pan but in the old crock pot it still stuck. Ease of Cleaning These new units are easy to clean and the removable crock makes it easy to stick in the dishwasher. Ease of Use This unit is easy to use and easy to store. Design I love being able to remove the pot when I want to fill it and boy does it make clean up a lot easier. The knobs are easy to read and the temperature appears accurate. Durability I;m counting on this one lasting as long as the old one and see no reason why it would not.

I love this little crock pot. I have had it for about 3 years now. It's not huge, so don't expect to feed a family of 6 with it. But it's great for a couple or if you want to make a side dish. I love that it's so simple to use. No programming or anything. Just turn the knob. The ceramic insert comes out so it's easy to clean. I pop it right in the dishwasher. It cooks food very well. Just remember to stir your food if it's on high. I actually made chili in this crock-pot a couple days ago. This crock-pot is awesome for chili! This crock-pot heats everything evenly (which to me is better than cooking it on the stove top) and food does not get stuck to the bottom. Would recommend this to anyone. :)

I have had my 3 quart Crock Pot for 5 years. It still works as good now as it did the very first time I used it. I use it 2 or 3 times a week. I feel like it is really well designed. It heats up pretty quickly. I always do it on high for a little bit first and then move to low. When I'm all done with it, it cleans up really well. I love it for roasts, stews and soups. I also love just throwing some chicken and veggies in and letting them cook for a few hours on high. I have been really impressed with it but as my family grows I realized that I needed a bigger one. So I went out and bought the 6 quart one. I'm sure I'll like it just as much! I haven't used it yet.

I really love this Crock-Pot 3 quart slow cooker.  I bought it to replace a very old Crock-Pot brand slow cooker that I had inherited from my grandmother. The older one had a thick metal lid that was chipped and ended up cracking but it worked perfectly.   Luckily, the newer version works just as well with a few upgrade.  The stonewear is removable and cleans up easily.  I put mine upside down in the dishwasher and  I never have to scrub it, even after making BBQ that simmered all day.  It takes a while to get warmed up which is often frustrating when I want to put something that is already cooking into the Crockpot to keep warm during parties.  The lid is also an upgrade from the older version with a metal ring border.  The 3 quart size is good for a 2-3 lb roast.  I can make soups and stews with enough servings for 3-4 people.  If you have a large family to cook for or wish to use this for potlucks.. I would recommend a larger model.  For a couple with no kids, this slow cooker meets all my needs.  Time to Heat If I am adding hot items to a crockpot, I like for the crockpot to be already warm. On the high setting this slow cookers only takes a few minutes to heat up. Ease of Cleaning Since the inside of this crockpot is removable it is a breeze to wash.

This is the first crock pot that I bought and I love it. The settings are "off, low, high, warm" - it has removable insert and a glass lid. Food doesn't get burned for me, it is very easy to use, convenient and very easy to clean. I like that it comes with the warm setting so that I can keep it in there through out the day once its done cooking so the kids can come back anytime for more throughout the day. It is small, perfect for families of 5 and under. It does not take too much space in the kitchen. It can feed 2-4 and at times even 5 or 6 portions because I don't eat huge portions. I've had this for over a year now and it is still working great, it has never given me any problems. con: does not have a light to show that it is turned on, very basic but does it's job well.

I recieved this Crock-Pot 3-Quart Slow Cooker as a wedding present. I had registered for it because it matched my decor, but after using it now for 4 years, I am so thankful I did! This is the PERFECT size for crock pot meals for my husband and I! I love that it has three settings- high for shorter times, low for longer, and warm for while you are serving the meal. I also have used this Crock-Pot for several church pot luck meals. It is perfect to keep side dishes warm, and it doesn't take up as much space on the table! I also love that it is smaller; it fits perfectly atop my refrigerator when not in use. I also love that it does match my decor; it is not an eyesore of an appliance. Overall, I truly believe this is well worth the investment. I have used it frequently and it has held up over the 4 years I have had it- and I can't say that about all of the appliances and wedding gifts I received! If you are unsure which slow cooker to purchase- I would recommend this one.

I love the idea of coming home from work to dinner already on the table. This crock pot helps me do just that. It's easy to use, light enough to go from fridge to counter, and cooks food well. If I were to purchase all over again, I'd buy one the next size bigger. Even though there are only 2 of us at home, it'd be nice to be able to create multiple meals at one time. And forget about cooking a whole chicken. I did it once, but I really had to cram it in there. Food also tends to stick to the bottom of this slow cooker, which is annoying. We always have to end up soaking it for hours before getting all the grim off. Ideally, this slow cooker would also have a warm buttom and digital timer. It's hard to schedule meals when you know you will be gone for 12 hours. Most recipes call for an 8-10 hour cook time. It'd be nice to program that amount in and then have the machine go to warm for the remainder of the time. However, this really is a good little crock pot and I'd reccommend it to others.

I added this Crock Pot to my wedding registry because i was told that it would be a guarantee that somone would get me a slow cooker, so I might as well pick out one I liked. I chose this one because I liked the sleek look, and I knew it would match all of my other stainless steel appliances. I had never used a slow cooker before this one, but now i see why it is such a great wedding gift. I work a lot, and am not home during dinner time 3-5 evenings a week. I can prepare meals in the morning, go grocery shopping and run errands, and go to work. When I come home, my meal has slow cooked in the Crock Pot to perfection. I've made different chilis, soups, stews, and meats. The best thing is boneless barbeque ribs!!!! All you have to do is throw the ribs in there with a bottle of barbeque sauce, and add sauce if you get a chance to throughout the day. They come out so tender and perfect. The pot comes out of the cooker, so it is easy to wash. I am so glad I got this Crock Pot!

For occassions when I'm wanting to cook something just for two of us, this Crock Pot is just perfect. I also use it a lot for keeping large quantities of dip (our favorite happens to be nacho dip) warm. My favorite part of this Crock Pot is the removable black crock. I can prepare my recipe ahead of time; take it from the refrigerator and put it in the cooker part. I find that the removable crock washes up very easily by just using hot water, dish soap and a light scrub pad. The stainless steel finish stays nice and streak / smudge free and is also easy to clean. This Crock Pot has the typical settings of low, high and warm. I would recommend this product based upon it's ease of use, easy clean up and effectiveness in making all my favorite dishes stay nice and warm.

This review is a Crock-Pot 3-Quart Round Manual Slow Cooker, Stainless Steel. Some of the features are: - 3-quart round stoneware insert - High, low and warm settings are perfect for making chilis, stews, sauces and more - Perfect for three or more people or a three pound roast - Dishwasher safe stoneware and lid I dislike this product. I would not purchase again. A couple of complaints - It seems to cook VERY hot. I would be very cautious when cooking with this product and make sure I was there to see it. Also, when cleaning the crock pot, dirty dish water gets between the handle and the glass, making it nearly impossible (without getting a screwdriver and manually unscrewing the screw holding them both together) to get it clean. Also like the stainless finish, it's very sleek and attractive, although I wouldn't purchase a product because o fwhat it looks like.  I also like the color black as the insert. I'm hoping black will not show so many scratches and stains as my Hamilton Beach bigger crock pot.
