CPAP or continuous positive airway pressure, is used to treat obstructive sleep apnea or OSA. OSA occurs when the tongue or other tissue in the back of the throat closes off the airway during sleep. read full review »I've snored (Loudly) since my late teens & just one of those heriditary things you get to taunt your folks about during get togethers & such. In my late 40's I started to get headaches in the morning & started dozing off in the afternoon & even driving home which became a concern. My doctor recommended a sleep apnea test which indicated that I stopped breathing dozens of times & never reached the level of sleep I should be getting.
