Fabulous, high-quality contact lenses!

5

I really love my Air Optix for Astigmatism. I was wearing Acuvue Oases regular lenses but my astigmatism finally got bad enough that I had to get lenses for astigmatism. My eye dr. suggested that I try Air Optix for comfort and quality. After a few adjustments (it can be very hard to fit astigmatism lenses so don't give up!), we found the right fit for me. I experience occasional rotation which causes me to see blurry for a few minutes, but it doesn't last long, and that's to be expected because the axis moves from time to time. It does not bother me enough not to wear them. I could not believe how good I could see when I switched lenses! They are SO comfortable! Rarely do they get dry-I do notice it if I've cried, but I just re-wet them. My eyes feel fine-I don't notice any dryness or itchiness. I also like that they are made to last one month and are made from thicker material. They also have a neat blue tint so that you can find your lenses if you lose them on a surface! I wish they were a little cheaper, but they are of excellent quality and I recommend them!

Air Optix gets more oxygen to your eyes

5

I have been wearing the Air Optix for Astigmatism Contact Lenses for about 6 months now and just love them. They are very comfortable and my eyes do not dry out as much as they did with other lenses in the past. They come from a family of breathable contact lenses and you only have to change them monthy. The ones I wore in the past were changed every two weeks and would tear very easily. I have not torn one of these lenses (yet)! They have a Tri-comfort technology....breathability, retains moisture, and resists deposits. Breathability...gives you a natural feel of comfort....you don't feel them in your eyes. Retains Mositure....they give you the moisture you need and your eyes do not dry out so your lenses remain comfortable all day. Resists Deposits....have a smooth surface that resists deposits for even up to one month. I suggested these contacts to my son-in-law as he was always tearing his other contacts and they were always drying out on him. He thanked me for the suggestion as he changed and has had no trouble with them. I recommend them to anyone who has a problem with drying out of contacts and not getting enough oxygen to their eyes.

good for dry eyes

5

I am fairly new to contacts. Started wearing them about five years ago. I have extremely poor vision. My left eye is significantly worse than my right eye. My right eye comes in at -0.4 and my left eye at -0.9 and wearing glasses was not an option. They could never get a strong enough lens that would not make me dizzy due to the huge difference in the two eyes. I also was diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome which can cause dry eyes, so I was scared to try contacts. I did though and used a different brand for the last 5 years. I could not understand why they'd always hurt and rip and tear. I'd read about Air Optix and how they are easier on dry eyes. When I was due for another exam, I decided to give them a try. These are different than my old lenses because they are designed to be used for one month, not just two weeks. I do find that my eyes are not as dry, although, I do not get one month wear out of them, more like three weeks.

Air Optix replaces the Night and Day contacts.

4

I really loved my Night and Day breathable contact lens that I have been using for years. I was a bit disappointed when my eye doctor told me that they had discontinued them and now the Air Optix was replacing them. They didn't change them much, but they did make some odd changes. For one, they put the word "OK" on the contact lens' edge. It isn't big and sort of hard to see (especially if you don't have your contacts in). They have also tinted them lightly so that they are easier to find. My eye doctor told me that they did have problems with the first run of these contacts. He said that the company making these were supposed to etch the "OK" (and some other squiggles that can't be seen) only so deep but instead made a mistake and did it twice as deep. People getting these contacts were having trouble because there would be protein build-up in these etchings. For the most part, he said, there are no longer any of these defective lens on the market. I'm not sure that I like them better than my old ones, but they are very good. I love to be able to keep them in for thirty days. I've never had any problems with these kinds of contacts. Shop around, though, because prices vary. My doctor's office charged nearly double what I could get on the internet.

The best invention ever!

I love this product. The first time I switched to contact lenses I had very difficult time finding the right ones due to my astigmatism. I really wanted the once that you could wear for extended period, even when sleeping and there was only one available. It did not fit me, though. So I ended up with regular prescription that were only for the day time. They finally came up with this Air Optix Astigmatism and I fell in love with them the first time i put them in. They fit perfectly, they don't move too much. My eyes do feel a little dry sometimes, but eye drops help instantly. My eyes are dry because I work on the computer all day long. I can see much better and clearer with this contacts than with the once I had before. I recommend them to try to everyone who has problems trying to find the right fit. I am glad i did! They are not that expensive too.

Just bought these contacts yesterday.  You cannot even tell they are there.  Slept in them last night without any problems.  Have decided to forgo Lasix correction surgery at this time because these contacts fit and work so well.
