I have the curliest hair that you've ever seen. It's really crazy. My sister has been trying to get me to straighten my hair for years, but every time I've tried it, I always end up looking like a scarecrow with straw hair. I asked my stylist about it, and I expected her to give me some crazy cream that would make my hair greasy, but she reccommended a straightener, a Chi namely. Chi Flat Iron 1 inch
I love the Chi. It heats up very fast and maintians the heat well. It gets my hair straight within one or two passes. It does take a little time to get the hang of it, but once you do it is easy!
I have tried cheaper versions and they did not even compare. The Chi leaves my hair soft and undamaged.
So why not 5 stars? Because on my last two Chi's the plug broke. It was mostly my fault because I let the plug fall to my tile floor, but it shatters easily.

I have wavy hair. Scratch that, I have frizzy hair! I live in the hot and humid south. Pretty much everyday was a bad hair day. I have tried numerous products, serums, gels--anything to help me reduce the frizz in my hair. My luck changed one day this summer when someone told me about the Chi. I cannot say enough good things about this Flat Iron! What an amazing product! It is truly a life saver for someone with hair like mine! I have naturally curly/wavey hair and very hard to control! I have bought so many flat irons in the past and have wasted numerous amounts of money. I never wanted to spend alot of money on a flat iron but once i changed my mine and spent the money on this product i saw the results and i can definetly say its money well spent.

Chi ion straightening iron
I've had my chi ion straightener for years and it has never failed me, I first bought it six years ago and my first one broke and chi company replaced it immediately at no additional cost. Although I wish it straightened from wet to dry, I am able to quickly straighten my long layers and it even smooths out my frizz and makes my hair feel a lot softer. It helps style my hair different ways as well, for example I can make waves in my hair or use the straightener as a curling iron to get beautiful curls that last all night. Chi Original Chi Flat Iron
I have had the Original Chi Flat Iron for a few years now. I have not had any problems with buildup on the plates or discoloration, etc... My Original Chi Flat Iron still gets just as hot as it did the first day I bought it. I like the Chi because I can curl or straighten my hair with it. Although it seems to be a great product, I am beginning to think that the cons might out wiegh the pros (at least for me). Chi Chi Ceramic Flat Iron (Original)
I've had my Chi for over two years and LOVE it! It keeps a high temperature which helps me quickly straighten my hair each day. The edges aren't a hard corner so I can also add a bit of curl with the same tool.
