CHANTIX  —

I had heard so  many good things about Chantix that my doctor and I decided that it was time for me to try it since I have COPD.  After the first three days I started to get so sick that I could not function.  I continued to take it for another 5 days and ended up in bed.  I quit smoking after only 2 days on it.  Had to stop taking this medication after only 8 days.  Unfortunately after another week I did start smoking again.

Thank you Buggheart for your nice comments. Right now I am trying cold turkey and not doing too bad. Thanks for the welcome also :)

Awww, that's terrible that you were so sick and I hope you're feeling better now. I can imagine how disappointing it must have been to make the decision to stop smoking and to ask for medical help only to have it not work out.
