CHANTIX  —

Chantix does work in a way that is totally different from other smoking cessation aids.  By blocking the neuro receptors in the brain it aids in removing the pleasure that you get for lighting up in the first place.  With other methods, they just provide nicotine in another form and it is dangerous to continue smoking with some of them.  Chantix also offers online support and toll free numbers to help you with the process to stop smoking.

If you take as directed, you will eventually start having physical reactions to continuing to smoke, such as a really bad taste in your mouth, nausea, etc.  It doesn't take long for this negative reaction to provide you with a possitive and long-lasting action to quit smoking.  Everyone that I know that used this method to quit and followed the full treatment directions have stopped for good.  The only ones who started smoking again were the ones who quit taking the pills before the 3 months were up.

Talk with your doctor if you think that this is a program for you.  If your insurance is one that promotes wellness they may cover most of the cost.  There are even some employers that will foot the bill for their employees if they are trying to provide a smoke-free work place and cut some of their medical costs (health insurance, lost time from work due to smoking related illness, etc.)

This is a great program, and good luck to anyone out there who is trying to quit, no matter what option you choose.

It sounds very honest. I am going to give this a try.
